Purple head has some pretty vulgar lyrics
interesting. where’s that from?
also where did discogs.com get these:
http://www.discogs.com/release/624787
it has info + all the pix! probably promo?
cool, although some of the stuff they wrote in wrong. i got my cd today…btw, I get 50 free songs from emusic in the package…pretty cool!
from the piss site.
no 3 hillbillys! [:(]
so revco, which tracklist is the correct one?
the one i listed. [laugh]
does it come with lyrics? there is one line in revolting cock au lait that I can’t decipher.
Late,
grmpysmrf
[shocked]
That’s one hairy arm… King Kong?
no lyrics [unsure]
no 3 hillbillys! [:(]
Weren’t those Jim Nash’s relatives? Maybe Al doesn’t have permission to use them since Nash passed on.
I’m really looking forward to picking this up tomorrow, despite the negative reviews around here. I managed to resist downloading the leaked version, so most of this album is going to be new to me!
Ok, so I’ve got it and I’ve listened to it.
The good: Caliente (Dark Entries), the Jello songs, Revolting Cock au Lait (although there was no reason to repeat Purple Head in its entirety).
The bad: just about everything else. I kind of just wish they’d done a new Lard album instead.
Why is the iTunes version under a different track listing? I was going to iTunes it, but I’ll order the physical disc if there’s a difference.
Am I the only one that likes this album? lol. Fire engine would have been alot better with iggy on vox and polegrinder is kind of a boring song, but otherwise i think its a pretty solid album. Loving the gibby tracks. Im glad to see hes makin alot of noise again. Revcolution medly reminds me of early butthole surfers. Jello tracks are basically lard tracks thrown in for good measure but their good nonetheless. And I really like the that syderbaby guy sings of devil cock and jack in the crack.
I would proabaly rate is a 8/10. Its certainly not as good a LFG or steers and queers, but its still better than 90% of the crap I’ve heard lately.
and yes the MP3s that leaked months ago were terrible quality compard to the real album just like Mrs. Jay said.
i can’t stand spyderbaby. he’s a goth manson wannabe. and he sings that way too.

Looks like they dropped the Hendrix parody.
Legal reasons?
all the websites even the minstry.org e-store one states the 10-track tracklist starting with fire engine.
i’m totally confused. which is the final real version?
My guess is that when the promo version leaked, they released it that way to iTunes. I’d also guess that RevColution Medley wasn’t included on the promo because they might not have had the legal clearance at the time to use the Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix parts.
I do like the idea of adding something extra to the final verision of the album, so that even after we download the leaked copy there’s still a little something to look forward to when the actual release comes out. I’m hoping there’s an extra remix or something that winds up on the final verison of RGB.
Also, did anyone else notice that on the early version of the artwork here http://www.sureshotworx.de/public/fil/4/inside.jpg that Robin Zander is listed where Mark Baker is on the final version? Of course, there’s no picture or anything they have his name misspelled “Zandar”

I’m guessing it’s because Zander did almost nothing on the album. They should really have Scaccia on there instead of Rick Nielson too, but what are you gonna do.
Interestingly, although I still maintain that this isn’t a very good album, I can’t stop listening to it. What could that mean?
