I finally downloaded the album off of eMusic and have been digging the hell out of it, the only track that doesn’t do it for me after two days of hard listening is “Jack in the Crack” and frankly that is a better ratio of good to bad than on Linger Ficking Good, which I’ve always felt has a few totally mediocre tracks and a few that don’t really bear up to repeated listening. Really this is probably my favorite Al project for some time. I hope it ain’t no 13 years before another Cocks album.
My guess is that when the promo version leaked, they released it that way to iTunes. I’d also guess that RevColution Medley wasn’t included on the promo because they might not have had the legal clearance at the time to use the Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix parts.
I do like the idea of adding something extra to the final verision of the album, so that even after we download the leaked copy there’s still a little something to look forward to when the actual release comes out. I’m hoping there’s an extra remix or something that winds up on the final verison of RGB.
But my CD version doesn’t have RevColution Medley either (first song is Fire Engine). And it’s the exact same as the one on the shots taken by Revco of his one.
Why does he list 11 songs when on the picture of the digipack there are only 10 songs listed?..
I’m a bit confused as well.
Mine has 11 tracks with the medley. Got it from ministrymusic

Are you in the States? Maybe it’s for non-US releases.
I’m in France.
At http://store.ministrymusic.org/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=RC001, only 10 songs are listed…
@Blagjesus: How many songs are listed on the back-cover of our CD? 10 or 11? Does the title of the meddley appear on it?
I’m wondering what is the story about this meddley…
Mine has 11 listed with the medley. I just ordered it a couple weeks ago and received it Saturday before the release date.
crap
even ministry e-store states 10track version with 1st track being fire engine
same for amazon.com
i guess no updates?
too lazy to check and correct?
maybe 1. RevColution Medley (aka purple head) 4:43 is a hidden track at the start of the cd?
rammstein have done this on reise reise
that won’t explain why fire engine is 5th one in the 11-track lists.
PS i fuckin’ hate hidden tracks… whole thing became bogus and overdone. it seems that nowadays everyone does hidden tracks. in the end, between the songs in “negative time”, in pregap (before track 1)…
Maybe it’s a recall? Like how the earliest versions of “Houses…” have the Carmina Burana sample.
yes it shows the 11 songs.
The recall wouldn’t have been this instantaneous. I’m thinking, RevColution Medley might be a Ministrymusic exclusive. Like they don’t list it, but it’s on the album. Else it’s a hidden bonus.
It’s odd. Guess by some sort of vote, who got it off of Ministrymusic and does it have the Medley, and if you don’t have the Medley did you get it in store?
Two local shops both have the “original” version (no medley), so I thought I’d order it. It is available on vinyl, right?
Well, my theory got shot to hell. Was at two different shops tonight, and both stores had Cocked & Loaded with the RevColution Medley on them.
Probably is like HOTM. Might have started pressing them with the Medley, then had the song rejected and had to reprint them again as the ten song version. Whatever there is to the first batch is it with RevColution Medley.
Unless they have two versions, but that seems silly, so might be on legal grounds that they had to make the ten song version.
well, shit, i want the 11-song version…
I finally got mine in the mail, and it is the 11 track version.
Only listened to it a couple of times, and for a Revco release, it is alright. Never was a big Revco fan anyways, as I only like a couple of songs off each album. Al said it was going to be nothing but filler, and he’s almost right.
I bought it the day it came out at a local Best Buy and it’s got all 11 tracks on it.
Personally, I think it’s the best album I’ve heard in years. I can’t wait for the show. If only Gibby Haynes would show up…and they play for at least an hour…
I have the 11 track digipack, picked it up at Newberry Comics. I think if you order off the Ministry site you should still get the final 11 track version (Its entitely possible that they did not update the website with the correct track listing). But if some of you bought it and got stuck with only 10 tracks, then that blows.
wow, just listened to ‘revcolution medley’. it’s pretty horrible.
aaand the full “au lait” version.
WHY TO REPEAT THE SAME SHIT TWICE?
why not just have 10min ver at the end of cd???
