Just spotted this on ebay. Pretty damn expensive though!
I actually have that shirt, and this is the only other one I’ve seen in twenty years. Probably the coolest Ministry shirt I own, but mine has a couple of holes in it by now. Bought it at a record shop called Eat More Records in late '88, or early '89. Anyone here have a Twitch ‘Stickmen’ shirt? I’ve only seen that one a couple of times.
Kind of hilarious/absurd that he’s asking $75 for it. That’s overpriced, to put it mildly. One popped up on eBay about half a year ago, and that only sold for around $30.
Yeah it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive! It’s pretty goddamned cool though. I’m sure he’ll come to his sense’s and relist it at a lower price when it doesn’t go???
The coolest Ministry shirt is the Just One Fix one with William Borroughs on it…although this Rape And Honey one is great too.
i’m pretty fond of my longsleeve filth pig shirt with the american flag swastika looking thing on the front. i don’t see that around too much. i do see people list random minsitry/lead into gold/other wax trax related shirts for like $75 buy it now which nobody ever seems to buy.
I had the Lay Lady Lay shirt with the painting of a naked woman on it.
It kind of fell apart and disintegrated through wear.
I’ve never seen another one.
yeah i have that one too sitting in storage somewhere. grabbed it in nyc back when the single came out along with stainless steel providers, and linger ficken good shirts. the shop was having a big clearance sale and it made my day.

I think that, the LoRaH one, and a Darkside shirt are the only other Ministry shirts I have left. I still have about twelve different Skinny Puppy shirts though. $75 for a shirt even one 20 years old is a little crazy.
back in high school and college i pretty much only wore band shirts, and i still have them all somewhere. but i don’t wear a whole lot of them anymore. some i’d just feel weird wearing nowadays at my age like chemlab’s “fuck are lets kill shirt”. i should probably have an ebay sale with them all someday. you know, for $75 each of course.

I used to love that shirt. It got incredibly faded and worn that I finally had to throw it out. Very upsetting.
i have the stickmen shirt. barker designed it and gave me one. it’s pretty worn out. i also have at least one of the stigmata shirt which frank nardiello did. the painting.

Very cool, SE. I had forgotten that Frank did the painting on the cover of that single.
i had a pailhead shirt.
and the 91 cocks tour shirt.
and the pigface welcome to mexico long sleeve tour shirt. with those designs all over it.
I understand it’s considered worth more since it’s a “rare” promo shirt… but i don’t know… it’s just a picture of a supposedly judy gardland with the title and ministry written on it… i’ve seen cooler shirts

Well I don’t know about it being a ‘promo’ shirt, and I don’t seem to remember Judy Garland wearing a big ass cross in Wizard of Oz, so I doubt it is a picture of her. It is a cool design in person though, because of the lines through the image only becomes clear after you stand a a ways from it.
maybe i read the description on the ebay page wrong but i thought it said judy garland
my pailhead shirts always elicited comments like,“what’s that?” (the bucket) . wore those out too. rats.what i liked about those was the design was so small. discreet.
had a thermal revco shirt that i wore forever. and somebody asked me in a grocery store where the hell i got it.
that one’s in my personal museum now. not many of those babies around. it was a gift for services appreciated, and acknowledged.
ah, the cool, good old days.

ab-so-loot-lee. lol. i loved that pailhead shirt. yea - i guess it did look like a little bucket. with that P thing.
I have, or had, the Stickmen t-shirt as well as the Pailhead t-shirt. Both never got worn all that much because they were both white.
Damned if I know where they are now, though. All I can say is I never would have knowingly gotten rid of them.
Still do have my Acid Horse, Lead Into Gold, and PTP shirts. The PTP shirt was torn nearly in half in a slam pit and restitched again. The Acid Horse shirt had a nice hole bitten into the armpit area by a dog that was chasing me on my skateboard. The Lead Into Gold shirt has multiple food/wine/who knows what stains all over it from a bacchanalian Crash Worship concert I attended that went long into the night.
Ah, good times…

We need pics of all these hidden treasures.
I wish I still had my ministry shirt that had a train on the front with “smash the control…” on the back. I seem to remember it being referred to as Casey Jones.
I got rid of almost all of my old band t-shirts a few years ago and made some decent loot. I sold a misprinted KMFDM son of a gun shirt and a pwei shirt for over $50/each on ebay. My ministry shirt was nowhere to be found tho.
