I saw this yesterday…Saw him open for the Afghan Whigs…amazing performer live…if you get a chance to see him,do so…he was just one of the many guests at Dinosaur Jr. string of 30th anniversary shows they just did in NYC…along with Rollins,Kevin Shields,Kurt Vile,Bob Mould,Roddy Bottom,Kim Gordon,Fred Armisen,Evan Dando and a bunch more…

Is this Bradley cat a long time solo dude or is he from a more recognizable soul/Motown group? He’s great. I really dig that 60’s and 70’s soul and Motown stuff . . . Four Tops, O’Jays, James Brown, Temptations, Commodores, etc.
He was a sometime James Brown impersonator who lived a hard life until the '00s or so when someone discovered him and made a documentary about him.
He did a stellar Nirvana cover a few years ago too:

and any Nirvana cover is an upgrade over the original…one of the most over hyped bands in music history…hated them when they were popular,hated them when they were cited as a “voice of a generation” or whatever horse shit and still hate them…blech…
