Heh… Speaking of “reunions” and such (that kind of relate to Ministry as well) Motograter have reformed with a new lineup and are scheduled to make a new album either late this year or early next year. I wonder what it will be like. The “new demo” that they have on their myspace page sounds a lot like the old stuff…
Who knows… maybe they’ll be better the second time around. I actually liked them and saw them a few times and hung out with them every time I went to a show they happened to be at.
I do hope musicians quit their jobs so I won’t be forced to listen to music of theirs anymore

jesus, just checked out new manson album, what a steaming pile of shit. and some people (including me) hoped twiggy would at least bring back a good old stuff and all that. none of that! someone early said manson should’ve quit after mechanical animals, they were absolutely right. i knew that all that hype that was made that compared this album to antichrist superstar was bullshit, but jesus christ, not that much!!
I agree with the Cornell, Type O and Marilyn Manson suggestions. They all went about 10 years too far, except Cornell. He went 13.

I’m listening to the new manson album right now. It has some nice catchy melodies, we can clearly see that twiggy was hanging out with the oasis brothers. but I can’t stand manson’s voice. If you want to torture me put billy corgan and manson singing to me.
I never listened to Manson to be rebel but because it was fun. I mean, what makes Ministry more mature than Manson? I guess it’s more a question how do you listen rather than what do you listen. i.e. your attitude towards the music, what it means and how it reflects on your opinion and behavior.
