I intentionally got there late to avoid Blackburner… goth dubstep with halloween costumes sounded too stupid to withstand. Friends who experienced it said it was absolutely awful… my wife and I timed it and showed up right when Ministry started.

Well Denver shows generally start a little earlier, but if I recall correctly they went on around 10 or a little after and were off between 12:30 and 1:00. I’m not sure if that would apply to LA though, I would think they might start later and go later…

Wow. Pretty lackluster performance by Al - falling asleep almost, slurring lines, missing cues. I really hope this is a one-off that we can chalk up to start-of-tour excitement turned into a bit of pre-show overindulgence, but . . . We’ll find out tonight.

Mike said their set was about 2 hours long. I’ve never been to Nokia, but I’m guessing it’s somewhat regimented for scheduling. If your bro already has his ticket, I’d tell him to come and he’ll probably catch the second half or at least part of it. If he’s buying on site, I wouldn’t chance it.
I’m thinking Ministry will probably take stage about 10pm.
Refraining from saying anything too bitchy in honor of those looking forward to seeing these shows but I can’t help notice the absolute lack of variety in the tempo of the songs.
No, Ministry’s never inspired lighter flicking but a “Scarecrow” or EVEN a “Bad Blood” would be a great break from the full speed thrash setlist here and on the CUL8R tour.
