Ok so im not sure if this post fits what so ever.
I just got the new AVP for Xbox 360 today.
It is just Freaking Amazing!
the graphics are so tight.
the action is awesome.
I am playing on the super easy mode which is easy.
this is a game where if you put it on super hard. it is just that.
I have only played as the marine and predator so far.
Both are really fun.
I feel this is going to be a core game i play for the next year!
it is also available for pc, and ps3.
check it out if you are able to.
worth its money to buy at 60 bucks
or even rent at 4…

I heard it was pretty Meh. I need to check the demo out, but i’ve been too busy with the bioshocks and the dragons and the nhls and next week Heavy Rain, then FFXIII, then God of War. I’ll be living in a box soon enough.
And I know i’m not the only PS3 owner here. Anyone here play madden or nhl 10? I suck, but it’d be awesome to play someone at these. PSN: lordpiko
I was pretty underwhelmed when I played the ps3 demo, but I was having problems connecting to any games for awhile. I’ll give it some more time soon.
I have been playing the demo for Battlefield Bad Company 2 the past week, and I love that one. That’s a series I’ve stuck with since Battlefield 1942 for the PC.
That’s basically what i’ve been hearing about the demo. Maybe the demo just sucks and doesn’t represent the game fully? I may check it out sooner or later though i’m sure. Wouldn’t be the first game I know of to do that. I remember inFamous having a pretty “whatever” demo, but I bought it anyway, and loved it. So who knows? Haven’t had much time to play demos though with work, the games i’m playing now, and so on. Been having the Dante’s Inferno demo for what feels like forever. Haven’t touched it yet…
i dont know about ps3 stuff…
ps2 had half the characters to battle as xbox did so i dont know if things improved.
the xbox 360 version at least is really bad ass.
it does remind of of castle wolfenstien in a way.
but the aliens are never in the same place they have different attack patterns everytime and this isnt one of those first person shooters you can just hide behiend a block and be ok to just shoot at your lesiure. you constantly have to run and turn around and shoot and run and crazy crap. if you remember the old pc version, its alot like playing that but again…the aliens/predators/marines are so much more challenging to fight. even the facehuggers are insane at times.
i like it alot.

I wish they would stop messing around with the whole Alien trilogy. Its been ruined by the last few corny ass cash grabs (AVP and Resurrection).

I’m playing that right now! I’m loving it, although I hate how they turned Harley Quinn into some leather clad whore! I adore her voice still though! Arleen Sorkin has the cutest voice ever!

I just got a PS3, so im not up to date on all these next gen video games just yet. My friend forced me into getting MW2 and thats really all I play at the moment, plan on hijacking some of his video games in the near future. Also hear all the geekwads raging about FFXlll too, guess I’ll have to get that shit. rpg’s are my favorite[:)]

I wouldnt mind checking this out. I’m behind in my current gen games, I just got GTAIV so playing that at the moment… must go in and finish the last few levels of Kane and Lynch though… I’m loving that game! Everyone bitched about the cover system, I thought it was pretty easy to snap into cover… anyway…
Ghostbusters - I wanna play this… I didnt see it promoted anywhere, and hardly see it in stores, is it a typical kind of 3rd person shooter (so to speak?)
FFXIII I have heard is meh… I still want to see what it’s like… I have only played FFVII-VIII, and a tiny tiny part of IX.
Must pick up a 2nd hand PS2 one day so I can play X, X-2 and XII. Fuck XI MMORPG meh… how do you “end” it? Is there even a point?

this was a comic book before it was a movie and also a videogame before it was a movie…
I hated FfXI. Really wanted to like it, but was just too boring and incredibly so. Ended up playing WoW. I haven’t touched an mmo in awhile though. Don’t miss it. XIII looks like it’ll be a lot of fun. VI-IX are my favorites and nothing will probably ever come close.
