Alice Cooper Live

So I’m “head” now?? And yeah that story is ancient…like me in high school ancient.

This was my weekend . . .
Best viewed on large display. 3:10 for the most holy moment.

Some pics of the night . . . .

Oh hell yes!!! Looks like a great time!!

Damn gunnar looks like you got every Alice wish fulfilled. You truly looked like a VIP. You looked almost as happy as I did when I met Slash! [;)]
Glad you got to meet your rock star.

Score dude!

OK, I’m jealous.

that looks like a cool meet and greet but man you really have to love cooper for all that, i bet he priced gouged the hell out of you too.

I don’t consider it a price gouge at all.
I got to meet my hero and sit down and have actual meaningful discussion and time with him (I honestly only expected to be hurried through for a cattle call click and run photo and sig).

All in, this is what $750 (which is admittedly more than 3 times any other ticket price I’ve ever bought) got me . . . .

*VIP Access Laminate
*Backstage prop tour
*Photos on stage including head-in-guillotine and with-Frankenstein pics.
*Front row ticket (you can literally touch the edge of the stage).
*Gift bag (a badass screened Alice Cooper tote) which included, amongst other things: 3 large high-quality thick stock posters, a Certificate of Insanity, a setlist of the night’s show.
*Meet and greet with Alice
*Photos with Alice
*5 items signed by Alice.

If someone doesn’t love Alice Cooper, then yeah, kinda dumb to buy all that shit, but I had the absolute best night of my life and think it’s a good price point. NO ONE left unsatisfied and most people shared similar sentiments that it was the best or one of the best nights of their lives.

Steal of the century…

I hear you dude, i mean just saying you really really have to like Alice for that. $750 is reasonable considering other factors. Gwar has a simular meet & greet I am debating. They do promise to kill you during the show as well.

That sounds AWESOME!!! If you have the list and price of everything included I’d be interested to see it. The great thing about a GWAR meet-n-greet is even if you’re not obsessed with any of the particular band members, they’re gonna make for great pics if they’re all GWAR’d out.

I met some of GWAR in 2005 in Worcester, MA they were awesome. I have a pic of me and dave brockie on some hard drive someplace.

anyways…
so the meet and greet is $299…

That’s rad. I love the weapons tour, haha.

Damn! The Coop has been pulling out some deep cuts on this tour.
He did GRIM FACTS last night!

Man, I gotta go see Alice Cooper. I’m not even a huge fan, and those photos alone were a ringing endorsement for a ticket.

In other news, I like that denim jacket with the Rigor Mortis patch. Give it to me.

It’s honestly great fun for anyone, even if they’re not full-blown Alice fans. His shows are full production, so anyone that appreciates some theatre and classic entertainment would love it anyway. If your crew likes “Wicked”, “Blue Man Group” or any shit like that, Alice is gonna be up their alley . . . and way better.

I was actually just a total casual fan (I think I only had a greatest hits collection, hahaha) before seeing him for the first time in 2012. Seeing him live changed everything and I became completely obsessed.

Sorry, Amigo.
El Chaleco has been with me for over 25 years and will be buried with me.

That’s one of the things I love about him. He plays all the hits, but he also throws in a few weird songs for the hardcore fans.

I love Flush the Fashion…such a weird album…“black out” era was great…

“Flush The Fashion” is amazing.
He did “Pain” a lot on the recent tours but not at the shows I’ve seen. That’s one of my top songs for sure.

“I Love America” and “Clones” alone elevate the ‘blackout era’ above any of the ‘MTV era’ albums like Trash or Hey Stoopid.
