Been just over 4 years since I’d seen Alice live, but I’m fixing that this weekend. Heading up to Vegas for another round. This one will be at the new Dollar Loan Center Arena in Henderson which only opened a few months ago.
I’m not doing all the meet and greet stuff this time (I probably would have if I’d gotten first stab at tickets and also knew that we’d now be fully moved past any Covid jibber jabber.
I’m not sure what the set list is going to be. He had a new album (“Detroit Stories”) come out early last year which I love, but I think he already did the official “album tour” for it. I know I can cheat and look online to see what to expect for this one, but I kinda want to be surprised.
One thing that I’m stoked about is that KANE ROBERTS (guitar) is back. I really loved Nita Strauss, but I’ll forget all about her if Kane comes out with his machine gun guitar pointed at us, hahaha. And I’m hoping they pull some stuff from “Raise Your Fist And Yell” this time. Fucking love that album.
Anyway, nothing really to report on yet, other than the excitement of seeing my favorite performer and hero take stage again and do what he does best. I can’t wait!
