It’s a good question but this most frequently affects the elderly, the young (just 18/college) and the poor people who are modern nomads (ANd with the poor quickly replacing the middle class it’s more of a problem than you think … Come on gunnar, You should know this you’re a sociology major too.)… no real permanent address for any length of time.

I suppose it’s how you look at. Of the stuff the sucks yeah, you could make that argument that poeple voted for it but I think it’s more apt to say people DIDN"T vote for it. We have a real problem with voter apathy. If more people voted with any kind of frequency we probably wouldn’t be subjected that idiotic bullshit.
Maybe… Biden pretty much has to win by more than 11 Million votes in order for the electoral college to not necessarily tip in favor of trump again. 11 million is basically the number that the electoral college can’t get around.
THat’s kinda the problem… the damage that trump is doing is un doable… Selling off public lands to corporations (we won’t get that back) drilling Oil in national parks… spills and derricks don’t just go away. The laws that will change under his scotus will be on the book for years. THis is not just “he sucks.” the is a full on lurch to right to take our country even further to the right. You don’t just reset that. definitely not whith the SCOTUS that will block any attempt to fix it. AND it’s being done by a small amount of voters… Tump LOST because not enough people voted. so the “idiots voted for it” Doesn’t really hold up.

That said, I was disgusted by the reaction of some so-called Liberals accusing him of “stealing” votes from Biden. They can’t rally enough support and momentum so . . . yeah, blame the black guy. It’s gross oversimplification, but it just didn’t sit well with me.

Kanye’s not stealing votes from Biden. I honestly think the only person who will have votes “Stolen” in that manner would be trump. I don’t think anybody serious about voting trump out would waste a vote on a 3rd party this election. I can see Republicans sickened by trump but too partisan to vote for Biden voting 3rd party. Hell, Republicans for Biden is an actual thing this election… Romney voted to impeach… Brave soul good for him. Multiple high profile reoubs have come out for Biden this year. A well respected/established Republican newspaper (in northeast Name escapes me right now) that has never in it’s history endorsed a democrat endorsed Biden. So, hopefully it’s a land slide but Kanye isn’t taking from Biden from my view.

I’ve never made bets on an election (don’t even know where to go for such action, haha) but someone could be cashing some nice tickets later this year if they place the right bets.
Think I saw Bovada taking bets on the election. I play poker and browse the site from time to time I dont bet on games or shit like that either it’s too risky. In poker your profits come mostly from skill there’s luck involved sure but a good player who knows what he’s doing is going to be profitable long term

I prefer not to lose my edge on a game just because people smarter or more savvy come to my table. I don’t mind the poker-based table games where we’re just playing against the house (“Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em”, “Let it Ride”, etc.) but it’s not relaxing for me to be playing against other players.

It’s prob for the best that trump is a one term president, he’s far too stubborn, insensitive, and inflammatory to be a two term guy so much so that he’s driving people insane. You cannot have a single adult conversation online without politics and inevitably Trump hate taking over the discussion lol.
These last four years have been me basically eye rolling social media and any kind of discourse. Whether it was big tech censoring conservatives or regular joe blows who seem to have no personality other than hating Trump it’s been an excruciating 4 years- factor in the pandemic and this feels like a bad episode of black mirror lol. When Dems are actively telling people to harass Conservatives in restaurants and stores like Maxine Waters did you know they’ve lost control of their faculties.
Biden and Trump aren’t force multipliers they’re placeholders. They’re like the mediocre assistant coaches in the NFL that land the head coaching job of a terrible team simply to manage the day to day and not sink the ship lol

It’s really scary to witness this in America and in Europe. I’m more on the left side of the spectrum but I have no problem with right wing ideals. Less state? It could work. But Trump it’s on a different level, he’s a wanna be dictator that acts like he’s on a reality show. People voted on Trump because he isn’t part of the system, because the system is corrupt. They have a point, but thinking that a guy like Trump is a good alternative? You don’t like the democrats? Fine. But Trump is better? We live in weird times for sure, let’s see what’s next, this isn’t over.
