i’m not sure if ian’s wife was involved, but hopefully she and her daughter get their share. this was to go along with the new jd documentary that was just released on dvd last week. i do know that she was very fond of this doc, while she despised that “control” movie that came out last year. i recommend seeing both if you are a fan. both dvds are available in stores and netflix (the doc is just called “joy division”).
i’m all for artists making money and tend not to jump on the “sell out” bandwagon but i do think that courtney is making a mockery of everything i liked about what kurt “appeared” to represent.

Whether she killed him or not I don’t know. I doubt it, but that’s my opinion. I DO know somebody stole his ashes from her supposedly… At least I think that’s what they said on TMZ or whatever…
I would up having to hear her last solo cd through an ex girlfriend and it was actually bearable. She’s got some talent and is I think a little more together than she’d let people think.
From what i’ve heard from Hole, some of it was bearable actually. I think as an individual, though, she’s disgusting… I don’t think she killed kurt, which is only just drama and rumors. She may have added on a little more to the ongoing issues that he had, and probably helped little. Always kinda seemed like 1) he had an uncontrollable drug habit and 2) a wife that was insane, that drove him insane heh. How i’ve always viewed it. Always liked nirvana, got sick of them after awhile, but it’s some good stuff.
Nirvana is in the same boat as NIN, and Tool for me. Liked them a lot at first, then hated them (probably mostly from their annoying, white trash, poser fan bases that would have liked anything on the radio), and now enjoy them immensely.

i don’t know she definitely knows how to fuck the right people. she always just seemed like a groupie scumbag to me including the days well before kurt. but he got her money so she’s obviously not stupid. the whole kurt murder conspiracy is very interesting and there are a whole lot of good points but with no true evidence i just find it a fun story to read about here and there.
but i do have a couple older friends from back in buffalo who knew kristen pfaff very well and were both convinced that courtney had something to do with her overdose death. so who knows. i wouldn’t put much past any junkie. especially one with the track record she has. no pun intended.
