But for how fucked up it apparently is it might be one that could sit on my shelf and collect dust until it gets out right banned and eventually sells for thousands of dollars.

Bad Boy Bubby is brilliant. Sure the first section is disturbing but when he gets out it’s an absolute riot. There’s also some incredible scenes such as when he wonders into the church and when he sticks up for his lady friend against her horrible parents…and let us not forget the awesome bakery shop scene and traffic cop scene hahaha

I’m not going to post the link, and I already feel like I’m giving PCP to children for even mentioning this, but the film is actually on YOUTUBE (don’t ask me how or why, but it’s there).
I checked the marker at 1:51 (that’s one minute and 51 seconds) when I tapped out. It didn’t even get to the “gnarly stuff” but I honestly feel sick and completely oppressed now. I am sure all the feelings of darkness and despair are likely magnified a hundred fold because of all the hype (probably not the best word choice, but you know what I mean) and conversation I’ve read and contributed to regarding this film.
It is very hard to describe how this film affects me. I have an unhealthy fascination with it, but will definitely NEVER watch it. I honestly totally regret watching those 2 minutes even. If I were to watch this whole film it just might make me kill myself.
I wish I could say I was exaggerating for effect, but truly this movie (and all the air surrounding it) just flat out disturbs me.
I was half drunk when I wrote that so perhaps there was also a bit of emotional magnification from the booze, but it really did wreck my night on the couch.
It didn’t destroy my Sunday but it does keep popping into my head from time to time and it’s like, “Uggh, there’s that thought/image again! Dammit!”.
Again, though, I’m writing all this based on how I was affected by LESS THAN TWO MINUTES of the film. I am a pretty jaded and cynical person and tend to think that everything is usually overdramatized and overhyped, but I think this is one of the few cases where all the shame, fear, and notoriety surrounding a piece actually FAILS to adequately relay just how horrible a particular piece of “art” is.

I think I made it about 20 minutes in before I got sidetracked with cleaning the house and putting groceries away. His wife is super pretty with lovely nips.

Yes, all that I saw last night was the beginning 2 minutes with the kid watching a porno movie of his dad while he comes in with some lady.
Like I said, the content, in and of itself wasn’t really anything all that shocking, but it was just depressing and pressing feeling. I think it is that awful conflicting of emotions as there’s the porno itself (and yeah, great looking babe) but we see the kid watching it wide eyed and it’s like I can actually feel him being damaged in real time.
As I mentioned, the feeling of dread with this film that I get is likely largely a fabrication in my mind resulting from all the reading I’ve done and conversations I’ve had.
I just find the whole film to have this horrific aura of sickness and evil around it that I’m completely on edge as soon as I start to watch any of it or even watch a trailer.
If anyone does happen to watch it on YouTube, do us a favor and give us the time stamp for the baby rape scene.
