I can’t watch the video from here, but I’m going to take a wild guess at what’s in the video . . . .
A video collage of some evil politicians getting all rich and greedy and fat, interspliced with some footage of hungry and angry people, some protests . . . maybe some big bold flashes of key words like “Greed”, “Power”, “Corruption” . . . then of course some pics/ footage of Al being all rebelious and looking like he’s planning some big overthrow or something . . .
Then maybe some more footage of oil derricks or some corporate logos, etc, some shots of sewage being dumped into a river in Mexico . . . .

It’s pretty much what I expected only with about 1/10 of the effort. Would this even get a passing grade in a High School video production class? It’s just absolutely horrible. By FAR the worst Ministry video ever made.
I like the part where he teaches us to count to 99%, though. Looked like a bad segment from Electric Company. Well, I’ve watched half of it. I’ll never get around to watching the rest and I’ll never watch it again.

I didn’t look at any of it too closely, but it was all standard stock footage (and most of it in no way connected to the “Occupy” stuff).
And I just cringe when I see Al hold up his little homemade “Eat The Rich” sign.

I don’t mind his ugliness (though I do miss the late 80’s/early 90’s when I truly thought he was a beautiful and iconic creature of manly sexiness . . . along the lines of Iggy Pop and Lemmy).
I do mind this horrible generic video. Was this made by Cabin 12 at Camp Chippewa or something? Seriously, it looks like some $5 budget thing made by a couple of 13 year olds over a slumber party.

Seriously? They actually hired a DIRECTOR for that? I honestly just figured they had some flunky throw it together. “Lies Lies Lies” was nothing special, but it at least looked like they’d spent SOME time (and a few dollars) on it. “Fire Engine” was kind of cute and different, actually.
I’d really like to know how much Zach got paid for that. As for the “actors” in the video, I’m pretty sure it was just whatever friends, janitors, employees, and associates happened to be near the 13th Planet compound between 3:45 and 4:30PM on Thursday.

I watched about 90 seconds. I want my 90 seconds back. The video for Revenge is better than this.
Just listened to Relapse. In my opinion, it’s hands down the worst Ministry album ever released. The Last Sucker at least has a few listenable songs for me (Let’s Go, Watch Yourself, Die In A Crash). The entire Relapse album is generic speed metal filled with uninspired riffs, embarrassing lyrics (nothing that I would ever want to sing/scream along to), and an even more embarrasing spoken word intro:
“You know, they say it takes a whole pack of wolves to take down a moose. 'Cuz one on one, that moose would smack em down. It’s like being in the music business…” and he goes on to name drop Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse (great, I always wanted to hear their names on a Ministry album :P). To add to the cringe factor, he sounds like a stick whittling redneck with a mouth full of Skoal when speaking.
I don’t think I can make it through a second listen. I pretty much hate every song, Al’s vocals sound like shit, the speed metal guitars are tired, and there isn’t a memorable song to be found here. If I had to pick a highlight from this train wreck, I guess it would be track 3, “Freefall”, which has a bridge vageuly reminiscent of “Hero”, and a couple of decent samples (once you sit through the boring 1 minute intro). The songs “Weekend Warrior” (guest vocals…some shithead) and “Git Up Get Out and Vote” might be at the top of the list for Ministry’s all-time worst songs.
Sad to say, but the album artwork suits the songs. This album blows.
