It’s great episode. Definitely leaves you thirsty for more, haha! It’s kinda cringe-inducing to watch people make the same dumb mistakes Adib the past. But it also makes you wonder if it’s almost inevitable. Like this shit is just so punishing on one’s psyche that even the most determined and thoughtful of people entering the jail are prone to being crushed physically and mentally.
I wasn’t really too impressed with this episode. I thought it was kinda weak. Quincy has tamed down. Essentially saying “I’m just gonna do nothing at all if I’m just gonna get in trouble for breaking the rules.”
I was pretty impressed with the new guy coming in and owning his cell. It wasn’t exactly exciting, though.
I was disappointed nothing happened with the college guy. They played up the “you’re gonna get robbed” angle and then nothing happened. I thought the same thing about his Santa sack when commissary came in.
I want something really bad to happen to Ms.Williams. Pepper spraying that chick then taunting her after she sprayed her. Turning on the lights in the middle of the night, pounding walls and shit to keep the women up, locking down the pod early for no reason on Mother’s day. What an absolutely horrible cunt! She belongs in a cell with her ugly abuses of power. Those women all appear pretty chill and are pretty respectful (At least what A&E shows us) There’s no reason for Ms. Williams to act like that at all.
That christian chick is stupid as fuck. Sitting up in her bed “speaking in tongues.” It’s fuckin’ gibberish! She’s fucking pretending. What she’s doing is not speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues means anyone who speaks a different language can understand you. NOT that she gets to speak a special, magic religion language that no one understands. I have no tolerance for religious bullshitters like her. Smug, self important bitch… she probably hasn’t gotten to the chapters in the bible about dishonesty and vanity.

i was on edge when Ashley was cracking. So glad she stayed (I knew she would, but I was still nervous). I do worry about her sometimes dropping her guard and saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, though. (“I’ll get to see how this jail works!” — Which is easy enough to put a civilian spin on, but I just feel that it’s kind of a pattern.)

I don’t think Tony was wrong for sitting out the fight. And Justin did throw first blows . . . . but I can definitely see things from Justin’s view too.
Aside from the obligatory briefing episode(s), I think you can take any 15 minute stretch of this season and it has infinitely more going on than the entire series of “NarcolepsyLand”.
Last season almost did us in, but I’m so glad we sacked up and got back in. This season is nuts.
Yeah this season was a huge come back for the show…it was as close to dead in the water as it could possibly get…going back to its roots was the only savalgable way…

Yeah, Action Jackson laughing as he was saying he knew what was up with Tony was pretty funny. We didn’t get anything actual new material from him this round but it seems he’s just chilled out a bit since getting a cup check from the Warden/Sheriff.
I think CollegeBoy is still doing about as well as could be asked.
I think one OBVIOUS weakness that still remains is the topic of cover stories. They give them some dubious arrest stories but don’t get them supported with realistic and confirmable details.
They always seem to fall apart when it moves past “got arrested for possession of cocaine with my buddies on Hwy 9 in Alpharetta…”. When the “and then?” shit gets asked everything falls apart… who’s your attorney, when’s your court date, etc… UHHHHHHH, FUCK, I DON’T KNOW!!!
Considering this is an issue EVERY season they should really give it some more attention.
First of all, I’m surprised the cops don’t provide them with the details for a cover story. That seems easy.
Second, why all the hate for food girl? I don’t get it. Yeah it’s not the Hilton but it’s the prisons duty to provide for these peoples’ needs. remember they’re all innocent until proven guilty, (none more so then our players) don’t punish her with food she can’t eat. So, yeah, she’s hungry of course she’s gonna complain. I feel for her. How else is she gonna eat unless she says something? And apparently she’s gotta keep saying something. cause she ain’t eatin’. I don’t mind food girl. She’s the one I feel for the most. I think her situation sucks. Feed her and she’ll stop complainin’. You gotta figure her situation is probably the most realist shit in there. So jesus freak and blondie are all “If you can’t eat the food don’t do the program” That’s fucking stupid. What if someone in food girl’s situation isn’t in the program and was picked up by mistake, misidentification, whatever. That’s the treatment they have to look forward to? That’s bullshit. It’s not solved by saying “Don’t be in the program.” That’s shit’s not helpful or accurate.
I like food girl a lot more than shallow little Jesus freak who dreams about demons fucking her!! How fucking conceded is that… “Oh my god even demons wanna fuck me, I’m just so hot!” Ugh I hope she gets her ass beat in that cell for her smug bullshit. Ugh I can’t fuckin stand her.
Blondie redeemed herself this episode, though she belly ached and bitched a lot before she did. I honestly think Blondie is the most obvious she is a plant. I think the other inmates think/know she is and are treating her accordingly. I think it’s clever editing but if you notice blondie only really hangs with jesus and food girl. (I only watched the episode once but all my recollections doesn’t really have her bantering with any other inmates. except the ones she works with during work time.) Probably why Ms. Williams gave her the job too.

The reason everyone hates Gluten-Free is because she complains to everyone around her.
She takes no initiative and does no work of her own to help her situation. Blondie and others are getting her food. Gluten-Free should be working on her hustle… which can include complaining, yelling, and demanding to the staff, loudly and frequently. Has she even filled out one of those grievance papers?
And the distress/emergency interview was hilarious…
“Is this an emergency?”
“Well, yeah, I mean, it COULD be.”
“Is it an emergency?”
“People are not treating others good, you know?”
“Is it an emergency?”
“I think it just feels like something gonna happen, you know?”

Alright, I see your point and it’s a good one. I guess in that sense It’s stupid for her to complain to those around her. Those around her can’t get much done, So it’s kinda pointless. I know in the beginning she did go to the guard on duty and tell her that she can’t eat this food but the guard wanted a doctor’s note. I still like her more than Jesus and blondie, though. Her situation just sucks. I hope , again, that it’s not editing, and that she has filled out the forms and complained to the right people but we haven’t seen it… If I was her with the camera crew I woulda said, “hell yes it’s an emergency, get me some food right now that I can eat, bitch!”
I’m glad they put her on the team because, even if she’s annoying as fuck and doesn’t last it’s great that it highlights a serious issue and something that I think a lot of us (me, at least, admittedly) kind of take for granted/ on assumption. I mean I always heard that we are respectful of the religious-based dietary needs even when we capture insurgents, enemies at war, etc.
So highlighting how difficult (maybe impossible) it is for someone with serious health needs/restrictions to get food is a great addition to this season regardless.
I still hate her, though, hahaha!
