I started watching that “Undercover High School” show last night too.
The first episode was missing from my On Demand list, but I got episodes 2 and 3 down. How many plants are in this one? It seemed like they just keep adding more, haha.
There wasn’t a lot of gnarly stuff so far. The main story lines I got were the Hispanic girl winning prom queen (to the dismay of the black kids who claimed it was “rigged by the Mexicans”) and . . . . the one girl getting added to a group chat which was actually discussing RAPING her. That was some wild stuff.
If there’s one major difference from MY time in HS versus now (more than 25 years later) it’s the phones and social media. It’s crazy that kids are video chatting with others DURING class time . . . charging their phones, etc. Just ludicrous. And all that trash talking, gossip and whatnot with FB and Twitter or Instagram . . . goddamn. I could see how some of the runts of the school could just get their souls crushed.
It’s funny too, that these plants are acting so shocked by everything, though . . . . have things really changed that much in 4 years? Most of the plants seem to be about 22 years old so it’s not like the disconnect of old fucks like me. I mean, certainly FB and phones and all that shit was already big in 2013, right? Are things that much different for them? I’m just asking seriously since I’m completely foreign for so much of this shit.

It might have more to do with the socioeconomics of the schools they graduated from. So it may be culture shock more than the existence of the tech. All that tech existed, sure, but it probably had its place in their previous schools (at least depending on how “prestigious” (for lack of a better word) their high schools were). I’m spit balling here I’ve never watched the show; I only know of its existence.

Why was she shouting to THE GUARD about how she was gonna beat that girl’s ass? If you wanna jump someone you don’t tell the guards. I sorta felt she was hoping to get pulled out or put into segregation for a day or so and everyone would have moved onto something else in the mean time.
Jaclin really went out like a punk. I don’t like that she tried to paint herself as a hero “I can’t let the other girls do that”. We all saw her face and saw her shaking like a fucking leaf. She. Was. TERRIFIED.
Stephanie is a total piece of shit, though, hahahaha. She could be a little more subtle about her hatred of Jaclin (which doesn’t really seem to have much backstory aside from maybe she’s white and came in without the coolest style). Anyway, both of them suck.
SuperLez Angele is livin’ the dream still, hahahahaha.

It cracked me up all the time, though, because there’s this one Class President homecoming king dude ANTONIO and the Undercover Student is mad gay for him. Follows him around trying to lick his balls just like George Costanza in that “Tony” episode. It’s gross. Fuck 'em all, though. That show sucks.

Im banking on the producers offering Angele another 60 days like they did with Nate to continue the show. And Angele will gladly accept. Her relationship will crash and burn eventually, and thats what the audience/producers want to see.
I kinda zoned out, I think, during the Jaclin family shit. I saw her bawling when she saw her kid and was like, “Oh, fuck off. That’s enough.”
And, yes, sex in jail is illegal, but so is sharing prescription pills, doing whippits . . .and pretty much everything going on.
It’s crazy how blatant that party was and how there was no interference from guards or anything. I don’t know. I’m not ready to call shenanigans or anything, but . . . I am looking a bit cockeyed and scratching my head a bit.
The real potential bombshell, if you guys caught it (I can’t remember if it was just at the end or was a promo for next week) was when the producers ask about how it feels to be in a relationship with Gabrielle and keep such a secret from her . . . . Angele responded with “How do you know I haven’t already told her?”
That’s crazy shit, but I don’t know if she was just playing . . . . and maybe she was encouraged to say something like that by the producers. I don’t know.
Anyway, here’s something that can’t really be debated as far as I’m concerned. THAT PARTY WAS DOPE AS FUCK!!! Jail or not, that’s the best party ever and I want to party with ALL those crazy bitches.
