I’d get Aesthetic Perfection “A Violent Emotion”. Easily the best EBM music out in the past decade and I suspect you’d dig it from some of your other tastes.
Well, I highly recommend The Tear Garden - The Last Man to fly (not heavy at all but a bit dark and experimental as FUCK). I listen to it literally everyday dudes!! Good shit check it out .
The new self-titled O. Children album has been glued in my player since it came out a few months ago. Highly recommended. It’s indie, but pretty dark and really really good.
Don’t care much for Hendrix. Too … I dunno I don’t like stuff that’s too bluesy I guess is the word.
I know ‘Filth Pig’ is bluesy but you know what I mean…
As far as other suggestions so far I’ll check out Aesthetic Perfection. I’ve heard the name obviously. Not really into EBM though. I don’t like Industrial stuff that’s too dance oriented generally. I know that may seem odd with my band BLACKBOMBS but keep in mind it’s a group not just my vision and Nursing Home (which is more like my solo project) never went techno or dance.
The ones I’ve never heard of I’ll check out. I don’t like really death metallish stuff though I respect it.
The Tear Garden link was right up my alley. I’ve heard that song before and loved it. Been meaning to pick up one of their albums so I’ll definitely be getting this.
However I’d to keep the other stuff new i.e. new bands or new albums from older bands if possible. I’m trying to shake up my musical pallet.
I have a feeling you might dig Fuck Buttons last album “Tarot Sport” which is pretty experimental but very catchy at the same time. It has a hint of LSD era Coil to it’s sound here and there.

Yeah, you might really dig the Fuck Buttons, they’re great!
I saw the Pixies in Mesa last night, and Fuck Buttons were support. Unfortunately, I arrived at the venue between sets, so I didn’t see a second of their performance. Never heard of them before last night, guess I’ll investigate online.
I just picked up the new Burial 12" two days ago and it’s superb…it’s a remix of a Commix tune called “Be True”. It’s on Metalheadz and it’s a one-sided 12" with an etching on the flip. It’s pure & classic Burial sounds.
I never really looked to far into the band for some reason. I owned all of Ministry by the time I was like 20 but never any Revco. But after reading CC’s book I wanted to check out their albums. I started with this album because my fav. Cocks song was “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy”. The older stuff I’ve heard is too primitive and repetitive sounding. This album is fucking awesome. I really love it. It was wonderful hearing the opener “Gila Copter” and realizing I now have another album chock full of that awesome Barker post-punk industrial rhythm section that I have missed so much. Really great stuff. Only sour tracks are “Mr. Lucky” (doesn’t Chris trash that one in the book?) and the title track “Linger Fickin Good” which is really corny, too long and doesn’t have enough sounds going on in it.
Tear Garden ‘Last Man to Fly’
Haven’t listened yet. But I love “The Running Man” (I had heard that song before on youtube and was obsessed instantly)
Swans ‘My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky’
Haven’t listened yet. Can’t wait! I’ll be seeing them live on Friday so this will have to be part of my anticipation ritual.
EDIT - I wanted to buy the new Foetus album but it’s not on there. So I’ll just get a Foetus album from whichever era that is awesome. What do you guys recommend as the best Foetus album? I’d like the one most widely regarded as his best and a great starting point.
My favorite Foetus song that I’ve heard so far is “Vice Squad Dick”
