2004 Evil DoER tour questions

Ok… I went to s afew of these shows (New Orleans, Atlanta and Nashville) and I’m wondering a few things…

Were many/any of these shows booted (not just the ones I listed but any from the 2004 tour)?

Were they soundboard, video, fan recordings, etc?

Any pictures of this stuff that anyone has anywhere?

Any venue posters, ticket stubs, setlists out there that anyone has?

What were everyone’s opinions/reviews on the shows they went to?

Anybody play Bush for any of these shows? What was the experience like? (I played Bush in New Orleans and I’m still thrilled that I got my ass kicked by Al onstage, LOL…)

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with all this stuff… All the tours so far have quite extensive info on them here at prongs and I noticed that the 2004 tour is quite lacking so I’m trying to piece together all the info needed to get it up to par with the rest of them… Anything anyone can tell me qould be great… Thanks!

Peace!

Oh yeah… And no I don’t need any info on My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult or Handzel Und Gretyl unless you guys really want to throw that in, or if it is pertinant to Ministry, (e.g. someone helpe out on a song or two, etc… Tonight We Murder was played or a Special Affect song [YEAH RIGH!])…

Thanks againand peace!

I’ve got my ticket stub for the Montreal show somewhere.
It’s a bit beat up on account of the glorious pit that was in effect at the show, but I think I should be able to scan it…just need to find it. I could give you a set list as well. It probably wont be in the correct order, but I’ll get that to you when I have a free moment.

i’ve got a ticket stub and setlist from the toronto show. both HuG and TKK opened that show (as expected). no collaborations. typical setlist from the shows (read: pretty much the same as everywhere else).

a couple of the shows were recorded (that i’ve found at least). they seem to be audience recordings with the exception of a soundboard one that was put on the air over the radio from NYC. It’s listed as a torrent in another thread on the forum.

Thanks guys! I appreciate it. Any scans or setlists or details of anything that you can remember would be great (i.e. if the sound was crappy, Al was pissy and didn’t want to play many songs, the moniters and sound techs sucked, or whatever)…

Just post the stuff in this thread or mail it to me at poetrykrowe@hotmail.com and I’ll be sure to get it all together and give credit where credit is due, cuz god knows I didn’t attend all these dates and couldn’t get the info without you guys… So anyhoo…

Peace!

My ticket stub–

As best I can tell, 90% of the shows featured identical setlets. That’s what i gathered from the prior message board where setlists were posted for a whole slew of shows from the tour.

I’ll see if I can find the stub and setlist this weekend for you.

Here’s a setlist as I remember it in NYC during their first concert there on Oct 19…

-No.W
-Waiting
-Worhtless
-Wrong
-Warp City
-WTV
-World
-NWO
-Burning Inside
-Hero
-Diety
-Thieves
-Psalm 69
-Just One Fix

Encore:
-So What
-Supernaut

I know they played seven tracks of Houses in that order, but I’m not sure what order they played the other seven in. I’m pretty sure those are the songs they played when they performed when I was around. To my knowledge, it was the same setlist the second time around only with JBMH as a bonus encore after Supernaut.
Another reviewer wrote that Al praised the audience and ranted about how lame the last audience was last night at the same venue at NYC. Probably because 1. No one knew who won the baseball game around the time (not to mention we all know that Al hates the F***ing Redsox as he’d say it), and 2. I probably pissed him off by yelling “Cold Life,” “I’m Falling,” “Everyday Is Halloween,” and “Revenge” at the top of my voice. I can still remember him giving me a dirty look after I said his early catch phrases too like “here we go!” and “ho!” The people weren’t very excited to hear my Ministry ringtones off my cell of Revenge and She’s Got A Cause as well after the concert[:/] as they said "CUT THAT SHIT!!"promptly! I took a picture of the concert with Al raising his arms, but the picture quality is VERY poor!

Thanks crash_n_burn! and sulfer!

I got the pic, the info and the comments down already. I also have the files for this show downloaded, so I know the correct order for the 20th. I’m sure the 19th was pretty much the same thing. Keep it coming folks! =)

the 20th,
Encore:
-So What
-Supernaut
-Jesus Built My Hotrod

I was at the Atlanta show also. I got ticket stubs and the soundboard guys’ printout they more or less don’t use or need that was laying around their areas.

I refer to it like that 'cause we ASKED for one and the asshole mixin dude on our left acted like he didn’t want to give us one. Prick! Sallright, we left with a couple. I believe that specific guy wuz doing sound for H&G.

Great show though, although Earthlink always seems to blow out a guitar sometime during each show I’ve seen there.

Ya gotta admit the crowd really got into the show, especially towards the end. Their Psalm 69 and older material was basicallybrilliantrockperiod.

But that’s just my opinion…

…HEH!

Yeah… very true about the show. They/we started to really get into it. If you saw the really skinhy bald nazi lookin guy that was me. =)

Do you have anything you can scan? Setlists or a ticket stub or anything? I won’t lie about it, I was REALLY fubar’ed that night so I don’t remember much of anything except a few songs and moshing my brains out, so I’m a bit useless on this date, LOL.

I have my ticket stub, but I’m just trying to get everything I can together and such.

Peace!

So that’s it? No one else went to any shows from the '04 tour here? Come on peeps… I know almost all of you went to at least ONE show. =)

I went to the Minneapolis show. I was supposed to give Al a dollar for Bloodlines that lorm2 shipped to me. I went behind the venue, talked to the singer of my band who was working that night. Tried to give Al the dollar, but he said he was bad with drugs, money and guns. [laugh] A friend of mine asked for a smoke, so we went down to the bus and Al brought us on for a bit. Gave us each a beer and he drank his bottle of wine. Then had to get back inside.

HUG was okay, not as much my thing, but not bad.

TKK played a good set in my opinion, just wish there was more motion.

Ministry was deafening. That’s all I’ve got to say, I put my ear plugs in after No W already pummeled my hearing, stayed upstairs for the first half of the set, the new shit, then got down into the pit for the older shit. Was fun.

If I had a scanner, would attach some stuff, but unfortunately, don’t at the moment. Though the set list reads as follows:
No W
Waiting
Worthless
Wrong
Warp City
WTV
World
New. Wine. Opener.
Just One Stick
Diety
Hero
Thieves
Psalm
Supernaut???
Jesus
So What

Didn’t do So What, but did do Supernaut. I know some sort of bootleg exists for this show, as one of the Song’s of the Week came from this show. Think it was Wrong. Though won’t swear to it.

Thanks for the info. I’m assuming that the setlist you gave me is straight from a setlist sheet due to the fun names? =)

Keep it coming peeps… There’s a lot more dates and info to fill out on this tour, but thanks for everything that has been given so far. =)

Peace!

I think I might have been standing next to you at one point man…I was next to this tall skinny dude in a trench with a bald head and glasses who looked to be in his 30s possibly. I remember screaming “Play Everyday is Halloween!!!” and the dude sharing a laugh with me about it.

Was it you???

heard of?! [;)] you mean stumbled out of, right? [laugh]
Yes, of course. I hate passing it every day, the big empty lot, the sign…such a waste. How about the “eyesore” in Island Park? Last time it was anything I went to was Industry I think. “NWO” was the name of their mix-tape they gave out. Speaks was the old name. Jeez…
i grew up down the block from Hot Rocks.
