Your one hit ONEders

I can’t remember if we’ve had a thread like this before but since I don’t remember it may be worth another go round:

Are there any songs that are way out of place with your standard listening delights?

or could be a song that is the only song that you like on any particular album; doesn’t fit with the rest of the album or just something poppy…

Bon Jovi- Santa Fe (off the young guns II sndtrk)

Living Colour- Cult of personality (only song that sounds like that on the album everything else on the album is damn near straight jazz)

Paula Abdul- Rush Rush

Faith No More- Epic

Boys II Men- It’s so hard to say good bye

Real Life- Send Me An Angel

(needed to add)
bananarama- cruel summer

I’m sure I can think of other ONEders but that ought to start us off.

Chuck Berry’s “Too Much Monkey Business.”

Though that’s really a damned lie as I love Fifties and Sixties rock 'n roll. But still.

The ultimate one hit wonders:

They were so cool, ya know [laugh]

I love “All The Things She Said” by TATU. I have no desire to hear anything else they’ve ever recorded.

Kid Rock’s “Bawitaba” kicks ass.

“Miss You” by Blink 182 is a good song. Then I guess the one guy decided to go too far in that direction and thought he was U2 and the other two guys decided to do more imbecilic pop-punk.

Outkast is talented, but the only song of theirs that I actually like enough to own is “B.O.B.” 'Cause it rawks.

Kid Rock’s “Bawitaba” kicks ass.

I should’ve mentioned this too! Good Catch!

anything off of weird al in 3-d is untouchable

I heart Hootie.

Oh and Lady Gaga.

KELLY MOTHERFUCKIN’ CLARKSON

I think grmpy’s concept is not band that only had one hit, but rather bands where you only like one song.

Men Without Hats had LOTS of good songs. And two hits in the States.
