I have my own little 20-year-old ‘bedroom band’ called The Corrugation, which has gigged off and on over the years, but never recorded a full-length CD. As it happens, I’m writing some new original stuff, but have been spending the last two months working on another project.
I’ve posted a couple of covers here before, but the stuff I write is heavily influenced by all the bands I listened to on Wax Trax, Nettwerk, PIAS, etc. back in the '80s. The music I make is definitely irrelevant to today’s music culture, but I love writing and playing it. I’m holding off posting anything here until I finish the project, which will be a digital download complete with printable art files (gee, where’d I get that idea?).
I’m not gonna say I sound like any particular band, but I’m heavily influenced by FLA, Skinny Puppy, Click Click, Borghesia, 84-89 Ministry, Cab Voltaire, 242 and Kraftwerk, and even a little new wave and post-punk, so use your imagination there!

Myself, I’ve probably whored this bitch on this board, what, five or so times already? Regardless, I’ve been dicking around with this project called Mirrored Shades for about two years now. It’s nothing serious, just something I do in my spare time (Which I’ve not spent very wisely… I haven’t updated the MySpace in well over a couple months, and I’ve got numerous things I’ve not finished).
It’s basically an amalgam of the musical styles I love all smashed haphazardly into one. I REALLY like early Nineties IDM like Leaether Strip, KMFDM, TKK, and the like, and I try to blend that with the noise of Godflesh and Merzbow, with varying degrees of success.
If I could describe the stuff I do, it’s like something autistic kids would rock back and forth to while eating paintchips and hammering nails into coffee tables…
As I said, nothing serious… Just an excuse for me to fuck around with FL Studio, samples, my bass, and whatever sorry-assed attempt at songwriting I come up with.
I should REALLY hurry up and finish that cover of “She’s Got A Cause” I was playing with…
Do a search - there was a thread about this very thing a few months ago. Some high quality stuff came up.

To elaborate, the music is hybrid of Industrial Rock, Noise and Middle Eastern elements. Lyrics are socio-political. Shock rock terrorist aesthetic visually.
