I stumbled upon this in one of the laser show forums I monitor:

Coming soon: Laser With Sympathy!

Brutal. [:)]

I think that was a download of the week several years ago.

Is that Al rapping on there? wempathy what do you have to say for yourself?!

Yep, that’s rappin’ Al alright. Not too much to say about it. Of course, Al wrote it, sang it, played all the instruments, engineered it, produced it, mixed it and did the artwork…all while Arista held a gun to his head so that he could later disavow having anything to do with it. [;)]

Actually, the track started out as Primental…no surprise. It was started at CRC, in Chicago and fleshed out in Boston. Shay did her part last, well after the instrumental tracks were completed. I played just about all of the keyboard parts, except for the horn bursts. The staccato chords were made possible by a trigger/gate device and were added later. I think they were triggered by a snare that Stevo played but am not sure. It was a trick we used once in a while…triggering stuff off of Stevo’s beats. When we played it live as an instrumental prior to WS, Al played bass keyboard. The guitar wasn’t introduced into the song until Boston, I think.

Don’t worry. DJ is completely full of shit about everything. He told you before that he was taking his time deleting everything but he clearly is not working on that goal. He only deletes a comment or two on old threads so it’ll bump it and everyone can see that he’s still around. It’s weird and creepy and completely pointless. I guess maybe he thinks someone will get triggered by his continued existence, but everyone stopped giving a single fuck about him long ago. It’s a pretty sad life when someone has to seek out attention from the group they claimed to have left forever over two years prior.

This is still going on?

Dead horse=beaten

I think maybe he can’t let go of the memories from back when he was a part of the community. He’s like the UNCLE RICO of Prongs. “Man, if Coach would’ve put me in we could’ve taken State!”
