Does anybody else think this is a retaliatory song against the Misfits song “Where Eagles Dare”?
Just wondering since the REVCO song is called You God Damned Son Of A Bitch
and of the lyric for the Misfits song is “I Ain’t No God Damned Son Of A Bitch”.
I mean who cares really? but you know, just thought I’d through that out there.

Never really listened to the Misfits.
I know, crime against humanity, right?

Eh, you’re not alone…
Jesus! you fucked an 85 year old woman???[shocked]
Meh, they’re not everyones bag especially now since the crimson ghost has been pimped out on everything. wouldn’t fault you for intentionally avoiding them because of the over the top commercialization of them. if you are at all interested I would suggest collection I and then to a lesser extent collection II.
I’d say collection I is really all you need though if you are at all interested. btw collection I is not called “collection I” (it’s just known as that around the fans so if you ask some Jackass clerk at best buy or Hastings they’re not going to know what yer talking about) it’s just s/t and has a mega close up in yellow and black of the crimson ghost

I’ll keep it in mind, homes.
Agreed, Collection I was the 1st Misfits album I bought, and its versions of songs outshine the more polished Walk Among Us imo. To me that one along with the 1997 release of Static Age are the only essential Misfits albums.
As for the original question: who knows…
Maybe Chris will chime in on that one sometime.
someone yelled ‘you godamn son of a bitch’ to reiflin in traffic, chris heard this and found it to be so american and there you go
p.s. i just realised something sad, as i fill out a practice test for a gov. job, i can recall useless facts like that but basic algebra alludes me would’nt it be great if we could get jobs as ministry historians you know (insert smug voice) “actually al’s first band was called slayer” jeez
destructo, studying maths and physics, i often have that thought to. i think it’s just the ability to remember whatever makes you happy. it’s been proven that mood congruency to memory affects it’s capacity; the general idea is if you’re in a happy moodstate, you’re more likely to remember trivial crappola. i spose ministry/music makes us happy, and so…
whereas, maths and physics general invoke mental trauma of all the colours of the rainbow! [laugh]
carmangary,
i know the feeling… imagine my school viceprincipal going through my laptop looking at my music files when he heard i’d been making music about members of stuff and found a shitload of anal cunt songs… and then there were the gg allin songs…
i played them to him to placate his suspicious they were pornos, and he immediately told me to stop, but i kept playing them anyway telling him how awesome they were. the interview was terminated. [;)]

Walk Among us was my first intro to Misfits, but it was quickly replaced by Collection I. Man if you want the ultimate in Misfits listening experience; if you can track down the Ultra Rare “12 hits from Hell the msp sessions” you’ll be in for a treat. That CD is like Candy for your ears if you like the Misfits!.
