We are now selling official copies of The Nursing Home Band ‘You Don’t Have the Right Not to be Offended’. The album comes in a jewel case with a 4 page insert and the CD, all printed by harshnoise.
The album is a blend of Industrial Metal with Arabic keyboards and Noise elements. Six of the tracks can be previewed at our myspace:

Yeah I got a 6 piece together (2 guitars, keyboards, bass, drums + me on drum machine/vocals) and we played a lot of shows in Syracuse as I was finishing my Senior Year.
That incarnation was the one that recorded this new album. Some of the tracks are radically updated versions of songs from my old CD, but most are new songs.

If anything, I’ve come to realize that what we do is provoking a strong reaction in most people either one way or the other. I’ll take that over mediocrity and indifferent responses any day.
The people at Litany are mostly dicks as far as I’m concerned, though all the flaming helped to get a shitload of hits on our video. In the end, all their bitching did me a fucking favor, which is why I kept replying to their temper tantrums.
They are way uptight over there though. I actually planned on posting there regularly regarding Skinny Puppy etc. before I was banned again. They can’t take any criticism of Skinny Puppy without throwing a fucking fit. Oh well…

What did you expect? Did you honestly think people would applaud the video and judge it to be decent? I mean, I showed the video to my friend who is Palestinian (and anti-religion and very “American”), and even he shook his head and laughed at it.
I’m going to record a song called “Jesus is a Homo.” It’ll be some fuzzy noise with me yelling through distortion “Jesus is a homo, he likes to have penises in his butt.” Then I’ll take a picture of me wearing a wig and a bedsheet with a beard drawn on with magic marker, and I’ll photoshop in a cartoon penis pointing at my face.
Then, when people tell me that I’m making amateurish music with retarded visuals, I will finally get to claim that “at least I’m provoking a strong reaction in most people instead of just being mediocre.”

well i tell you… mqhanlon just almost exactly described the thrill kill kult concert on the Sexplosion tour i saw in memphis at the omni new daisy. they had a guy come out dressed like jesus (on the cross mind you). with a big fat ass cock hanging out. then the bomb gang girlz blew him, and then (are you ready for it) he CAME ON THEM!!!
