You could have Romney fire Obama

and undoubtedly send his job to China which is what Romney is used to doing with the jobs of People he’s fired.

or you could vote for Obama and fairness (not equality but fairness, there is a difference).

but either way make sure you vote today.

hopefully jesse ventura in 4 years.

I just got back from voting…I was out of there in 30 min…pleasently suprised after I heard about ppl waiting up to 5 hours…

you know that guy sits republican, but based on everything I’ve read about him and the answers he’s given in interviews as well as how he left Minnesota if he hasn’t lost his damned mind in 2016 I wouldn’t rule out a vote for Jesse.

Although if Romney loses I’ve heard Jeb Bush as well as Chris Christie are optioning a run and there is no way in Hell I’m voting for either of those two.

Who do the dems run in 2016? I don’t think Biden has any interest in running for president

30 minutes? not bad but I think the mega wait times are really only in the metropolis type cities.

Yeah,I live in a small city in Greater Miami…I have heard of some other area’s in Miami with wait times of up to 5 hours…I was curious what some other people’s waiting times were in different state’s…

Don’t even get me started on Jeb…[pirate]

My polling spot was super easy. Lots of booths set up, very short and quick lines. No hassle at all.

I educate myself on propositions and measures and vote accordingly, but when it comes to candidates I have a number of guiding principles that I use to make my selections . . . .

  • Vote against white men.
  • Vote against incumbents.
  • Vote against the two-party candidates.

I realized this year that I now live in a district that makes this more difficult. I used to just see the names Garcia, Yamamoto, Chen, or Bin Laden and go with that. There’s too many white people in my district and the names are trickier. So I gotta look harder to find the brothas and sistahs or just write in candidates (or refuse to cast a vote for certain positions).

I also sometimes like to “spoil” my ballots by defacing them and/or writing various obscenities or curses on them.

MITT ROMNEY FOR U.S.A.

So I gotta look harder to find the brothas and sistahs or just write in candidates .

I always thought that was interesting. That you can just write in names of people you would like to see.

Up here, if you put anything but a check mark, or X, next to the candidate’s name, it gets rejected.

Are you able to see the final results of your district?

500,000 votes for Obama
20 votes for Amlux
1 vote for Romney

and such?

I like how you made the example hopeful with Amlux getting 19 more votes than Romney.

I’m not sure if there’s any master list somewhere or something. I can tell you, though, that the “write in” candidate process is really not as simplified as just putting a name down and blammo, if Dee Snider gets 500,000,000 votes he gets to be president.

There are actually “qualified” write-in candidates who’ve gone through some process to be approved as such. Random plugged in names “Mickey Mouse”, “Ronald McDonald”, or even real people that just aren’t pre-qualified as real write-in candidates are, I assume, invalidated and will likely be all lumped together as a non-vote for that position.

I’m guessing that, there should be some master stats somewhere that will have the complete breakdown of all the candidates, including the third parties and write-ins, spoilt ballots, non-votes, etc. How to get access to it is another story, but it’s all public information so while it may be a bit of a hassle, it should certainly be available.

Maybe he’ll come back! Amlux that is.
