"Yeah, you'll see some more music from LARD. I love Jello. There's always room for Jello. We're working it out, we're talking, and yeah, there'll be a new LARD record."

I don’t believe it just like I don’t believe he’s actually working on an album with Lil Wayne.

The only thing that really surprised me in that article was that Al supposedly wakes up and rides 50 miles and then does a thousand sit-ups.

Al Jourgensen: Well, people are still freaked out about this. Seriously, I mean, you’re asking me about it. OK, yeah, I gave blowjobs. So what? I was actually pretty good.

Well, that explains this, I guess.

Is this an interview from 10 years ago? Because he was saying this 10 years ago.

exactly what rev_skarekroe said.
i remember after 2003 he was saying like “yeah, gonna do this new mega amazing ministry album, new revco album, new lard album, and then we’re gonna tour as a three-band bill, blablabla”

Al is always at his most prolific whenever he retires. I’m not saying the output is especially good (sometimes not even sort of good) but he sure makes a lot of it.

I hope Lil Wayne and Trent Reznor are on the new Lard album. Tie it all together, man!

Why did I waste my time reading this shit?

Nonetheless, surprised to read this from Brian Mantia:
“Brian Mantia · Follow · Ranken Technical College
Will this scumbag just OD and die already?”

I always thought that the last Lard album was essentially the three Jello tracks on the Revolting Cocks album. Like the Christmas EP, it was something that call talked about by Al as an album in advance but was really just a couple of tracks, and then it had no home so it got tossed on with Revco.

I thought the same thing, except that Phildo wrote the lyrics to one of those songs (Dead End Streets).

hey kiddies, been busy as fuck in the studio writing new music for LARD and DUBWEISER, so I won’t be on WASTEBOOK until next year. Go to Ministry for studio and tour dates, and if you’re good your Uncle Al will pop in to leave ya a message once and a while. Adios…puta madres!

Facebook post by Al, September 22 2014.

that article is from 2013

Yeah, in 2013 he was talking to Jello about doing a new Lard record, and in 2014 he claims to be working on the music. So maybe in 2015 we’ll get to hear it?

I hope Dubweiser isn’t some lame dubstep project.

They actually ARE working on new stuff this now. I certainly wouldn’t expect anything before 2015, but I know Sin and Al have met up with Jello a few times and they’re laying down the music for a bunch of this.

What finally comes of it . . . who knows? I’ll be interested to check it out, though. Hopefully it doesn’t suck.

I don’t expect much better than assclown from REVCO or any other Jello REVCO song. Without Barker there to program everything …

THIS. Over the years, it has become more and more clear to me that Barker was the reason Ministry sounded so good. I don’t care what Al says - the dude was at least 50% of Ministry.

I liked “Viagra Culture”, so hopefully they’ll do another one kind of like that.

I liked Viagra Culture too.
It was, musically, more interesting than most of Al’s output from that timeframe.
