With Sympathy ringtones for iPhone

I discovered that creating a ringtone for the iPhone 4 is as simple as creating a 30 second AAC file from your iTunes library and renaming the file from .m4v to .m4r. Maybe this is old news, but for the technically challenged - like me - a great thing to learn.

Accordingly, I created 4 ringtones from “With Sympathy”. Al and the team made it quite easy by having at least 30 seconds of synths and drums before the vocals kick in on many of the tracks. I highly recommend:

  1. Revenge (great ringtone; very recognizable)
  2. Say You’re Sorry (first 28 seconds; surprisingly good ringtone)
  3. Should Have Known Better (another good synth intro)
  4. She’s Got a Cause (another great synth intro)

I remember making ringtones in .wav for my shitty flip phone several years ago…it’s amazing how easy it is to do if you have 10 mins…
