No, it’s just a fan commentary. They’ve done a bunch of these, the Front 242 one was really good.
Yeah, I’m about halfway through. I enjoy these commentaries, even if I’m not always on the same page as these guys. Some valid points so far. I definitely agree on the prevalence of the high-end synths. And their jokes about the extended metaphor of Work For Love were pretty funny. I expect them to really savage the second side of the album, which is about 50% deserved.
Thanks for the link, I liked their take on it and will check out some of their other podcasts.
Their assessment is fair, even if I disagreed with some points. The record is good, but it isn’t the best example of early Ministry. The material in the box set is far superior.

Couldn’t tell if they mistook “Iain Burgess” for “Ian Taylor” when discussing who produced the album. I thought Burgess worked on the Cold Life EP.
