All right. Glad we got that out of the way.
Thanks for posting, Rev.
Now we can get back to our normal jazz-free lives.
I’m guessing that was decent for jazz, but, holy crap is that boring. Honestly, I would rather hear just about anything else on the entire planet.
Definitely NOT my thing.
Still a badass album cover, though.
Yeah, great cover.
But jazz sucks.
Great jam! I wish it didn’t have such an abrupt ending.
im DIGGING this.
as for jazz, my taste has always run a bit more Mingus bass-minded. but this has an interesting flow.
thanks for uploading this! im going to play this a bit, i think… i donno about dropping 30 bucks on it, but i would love to hear the rest.
[EDIT]
well, foot, i would like you to meet my mouth.
i commented this after the first five minutes of the track, but around 6+ minutes the bass goes to town and finds some nice grooves and even leads the parade for a touch. so… guess i am a bit of a heel there.
now im even more interested! haha
There is some great jazz out there…it isn’t all sleepy elevator music or Holiday Inn lounge fare…If you dig there is some great, daring complex stuff…my tastes range more on the free jazz side of things…Ornette Coleman,Last Exit,Sonny Rollins,Ronald Shannon Jackson, the more out there Miles and Trane stuff…once your ears get adjusted it’s a genre that can be quite rewarding…
