So I caught Wire last night here in Edinburgh and they friggin rocked sooooo damn hard it was insane. I find it impressive that a band that’s been around for over 35yrs can still be this devastating live. This time around I snagged a few videos which are below.

Anyway the support for Wire was two young ladies called Talk Normal. They were actually pretty damn good and sounded like Swans & Velvet Underground had two Daughters together which they called Talk Normal. They have collaborated and released spilt 7"s with numerous folk including Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore.

I managed to snagged one video of Talk Normal…so pop on some cans and check the vids out…

Wire were great when I saw them earlier in the year. Brilliant performance, and such pleasure in seeing one of the best bands ever play a great set with such energy.

They’re playing again tomorrow week and I think I’ll have to go again.
