Wicked Lake soundtrack listing

Ladies and gentlemen, I present you Threat Signal: http://threatsignal.blogspot.com/

Great, more worthless cookie monster rock. The vocals are laughably bad. They have the forumla down: sing like one of Satan’s minions during the verses, then go for the ‘melodic’ Linkin Park choruses. I’d like to see the compression levels on this crap.

I also love how RevCo is now Jourgenson’s side project. I am going to go prepare my three album, 25 track diatribe against these Lies Lies Lies.

FAIL

EPIC FAIL.

well i guess some of us took it as al doing a score for the movie, which is an entirely different animal.

has anybody seen this movie yet?

Yeah, Al doing the score might have been interesting. This is further from interesting than an all-night Doogie Howser marathon.

I’d watch Doogie again. However, this Wicked Lake release is shit. AOTW is crap. Guess I’ll snag the 2 ministry cuts for completist reasons (and I really loved Khyber Pass).

oh and threat signal - anyone who uses black on black text, is a fucking retard.

I like AotW.
Kudos to Buron Bell for trying something totally different from what’s expected of him.

The complete track listing is a bit perfunctory.

Feels like a sampler and less like a soundtrack.

Probably not a good cure for insomniacal ennui.

I thought the same thing… If you look at the Sampler they gave out in the “goodie Bag,” for being a VIP at the concert, it’s all of the same artists and the same songs in some spots.
Late.

on this wednesday afternoon, i feel a sense of relief, for NOT having gone to any of the last tour VIP or otherwise.
(not like they woulda let me in-"SECURITY!!!)

doesn’t surprise that there IS no surprise to this soundtrack.
it’s all part of the drill now. make shitty music that maybe (uneducated) fans will leech onto and then al claims it’s the" best thing "he’s ever done.
anybody know how many times his highness has said that?
i need a flow chart.
al needs to ditch the sidekick, and get back to business. if that ain’t possible–god bless!

The synopsis on Rotten Tomatoes reads like it was written by a 13-year-old:

“It all starts out so innocently: four beautiful young women heading to the woods to unwind. Unfortunately, their relaxing weekend soon gets tense–and bloody–when the deranged menfolk come knocking at the cabin door. The guys had better watch out as they force the girl into a series of degrading acts. There’s something supernatural at work in the woods that will soon cause the tables to turn…”

1002

whoever wrote that…was it the dawn of the writer’s strike? amazing how much crap came out of that–more reality shows, no good movies. i honked at the protesters every time in LA b/c i was all for them. unfortunately, the fallout’s resulted in shit like this, methinks.

There’s something supernatural at work in the woods that will soon cause the tables to turn…"

is it the tree from evil dead?

Actually just “Hookerbot 3000” is on both, and different versions of “Khyber Pass.” Still way too much previously released material, though.

Seriously, who uses the word “menfolk”…ever?

@ Porkspam: one could only hope, but not even Bruce Campbell could save this crap!

THE GUYS HAD BETTER WATCH OUT!
