Who is that on guitar in 1992?

Hi, I lurk like a son of bitch.
I was watching the video of NWO @ the '92 Lollapalooza
and can’t seem to figure out who the guitarist is to the left.

Mike Scaccia is to the Right.
Paul Barker is even further right.

The guy to the left is wearing a Godflesh t-shirt, and looks
a shit ton like Justin Broadrick. Is that Justin Broadrick?
He even plays like him.

Just saying. I think I’m somewhat up to speed on who played / toured, but I can’t figure out who that is.
If it’s JKB, that’s pretty awesome. I’ve never read anywhere
that he played with them. That’s all…thanks.

Afraid it’s not Justin. It’s either Sam Ladwig, or Michael Bassin. They were the accompanying guitar players during the Lollapalooza tour.

where were they pulled from?

Michael Bassin was from Treponem Pal (he also played guitar on KMFDM’s ‘Symbols’ album).

Sam Ladwig was in Wreck.

thanks [:)]

Rock the vote, Al.

I don’t think JKB has ever had any connection to Ministry other than Ministry people wearing Godflesh t-shirts. Am I right/wrong?

If my memory serves me correctly Godflesh opened up for Ministry during the european leg of the sphinctour

Pretty sure that’s Michel Bassin.

I remember Al saying something about having roadies on stage who new one or two songs play with them on early lolla dates.Pretty sure godflesh opened for them on the ‘Songs of love and Hate’ tour .How do i know that and hate godflesh yet can’t remember a day of being 13 yrs old.

Yes, Godflesh did support Ministry on Sphinctour. I already knew that yet I jumped a gun earlier. [blush]

Godflesh opened on Sphinctour? I thought it was Laika and the Cosmonauts on some dates and Young Gods on others.

I got Young Gods, and it wasn’t great.

Godflesh may have been on the European dates. They’re credited as touring acts on the Sphinctour cd. It would make sense Al wearing a Godflesh shirt in some clips.

Was that the show at the International Ballroom? I didn’t make that one, but I heard the band got a hefty fine for breaking some noise ordinance that night.

No, I lived in Florida at the time.

Washington D.C. also got Young Gods as the opener for Sphinctour. That was the concert where I crushed a random syringe under my shoe that just happened to be laying around.[:/]

Even someone who used to like the Young Gods told me he thought that was a strange billing. They didn’t go over well with our crowd either due to it being playback.

have you ever seen this?
