-House of blues sucks
-it’s about 1-1.5 hrs drive for me
-no original members
-hate fire engine
-cock and loaded was balls
-sex-o was non offensive, but not good enough to me to warrant an hour and a half drive
-just can’t seem to muster any type of excitement
-13th planet seems to have something against playing in milwaukee
-butthole surfers playing on the same day
-setlist is kinda … meh
reasons i would like to go:
-love josh bradford
-josh bradford sings the older songs pretty damn well
-love stayte (josh bradford)
-i am gay for josh bradford
so…yeah. i would go if it was close/convenient, but i got alot of other more important shows in these months (kmfdm, gwar, skinny puppy, buttholes, etc) so i’ll choose to spend my money with other bands.
now if Stayte were playing, i’d be down, no questions.

They were in Tempe last Saturday, and I didn’t think twice about missing them. Saw the set list here, and that settled it. I can admit that I’m just gonna be an old man about it:
- No BSL songs (too many good songs to be skipped)
- No original vocalists (or Paul)
- No Al (hey, it would add some validity, well until I read the post about the L.A. show)
- Don’t like the last two albums
- Don’t want to watch a RevCo cover band

I kinda wanted to see em in LA but I hate the House Of Blues so much. It’s like seeing a band play at Applebees. Josh was great live though when I saw 'em a few years ago.

simply no interest in the music or current members. lost interest in most of the back catalog too.
Personally I don’t care who wrote Fire Engine or when, I just think it stinks.
Al’s career low for me though is the cover of ‘What A Wonderful World’. I would unreservedly label that the worst song ever. In my mind the absolute bottom point he ever reached (hell anyone could ever reach) That pissed me off more than the Bush albums, the lawsuit, and the false advertising put together.
Now I feel better.

I would go, as it’s really close to the venue, and Foufs is one of my favourite places to see shows in my town. I’ve just got way too many shows to go to in the next few months and I need to be selective. (ie, my wife will kill me if I go to them all).

what happened to the guy who was here a month or so back who said he was either the tour manager or booking the tour or something? i wonder how the sales are, I know there aren’t any sell outs yet. maybe he can hook us poor people up with a ticket instead of just having it be a blank space in the club. I’d go, surprise surprise, I may bitch and moan and complain and make fun but i’m full of piss. I’d really like to see the nyc show but i’d rather you know, eat and stuff.
