Del Taco’s the only one I go to. I used to go to Taco Bell but since moving to the West Coast I’ve soon discovered that DT wipes the floor with TB.
When I was living in the US in the late 80’s early 90s I would generally get Jack In The Box or Wendys or sometimes Taco Bell. I would eat at any one of these places at least twice a week. But usually if I felt like greasy food I would go to this lebanese take-away which served the best spicey garlickey food that money can buy.
Newest one I scratched off the list is a shithole called Tilted Kilt. Used to be a bennigans. Terrible experience had over the weekend there, so never again.

I absolutely love Subway and KFC. When I visited the US I had Jack In The Box several times and fell in love with it. I don’t know why that place doesn’t get more exposure.

Yeah, the service was horrible. There was 11 of us there. She didn’t split the check, and when someone said that she should’ve, she asked us to do it for her. I ordered two dos equis (stay thirsty…) and a friend of mine ordered two dos equis. Two beers cost me 11.75… His was three bucks cheaper. She paid very little attention, and ruined my night. I went there to watch UFC, and this whole debacle with the checks had to have happened during the end, so I missed a chunk of what ended up being a three minute fight…
She fixes the checks, and in a total “fuck you” tone of voice, she apologies and thanks us for her patience. That was my final straw.
Left her $0.00 on a 32, wrote a note on what she did wrong, and called the manager. Which ended up giving the remaining friends that were there coupons. She was furious, etc. etc.
I work in the food industry, and have for a few years now both front and back (kitchen). Think I have at least a decent idea of what’s supposed to be done, and what isn’t. So needless to say, never again.
