where do your charitable dollars go

i allowed greenpeace to deduct ten bucks a month back when i could give them the money/direction.
there are so many organizations who now are hurting because nobody wishes to contribute to a non profit because of the economy.
my suggestion, which would have considerable impact–
jane’s due process in texas. it is the ONLY hotline in texas which deals with pregnant teenagers in the state with the highest teen pregnancy only abstinance crap.
i am a volunteer. but goddammnit, who is supposed to pay for this.“this” being any unwanted pregnancy.
send cash . their budget will run out in three months. c’mon.
step up. and maybe ed will start being generous in the old age. http://www.janesdueprocess.org/

jane’s due process has a skeletal budget, so it’s not like the komen breast cancer people.
this is stripped down .
if i had a girlfriend today, who was seventeen in the state of texas, i would be a man and have a conversation about what you do.

if there is only one place you send your own ten bucks to send to jane’s.
seriously. the fallout is phenomenal. and it affects all.
i will reciprocate.
er…some way.

I work for a large corporation that has an Employee Community Fund that I contribute to and that my employer matches. I can’t say specifically which charities the money goes to, but it’s kinda heavy on local youth organizations.

In addition we regularly donate to Veteran’s organizations, Alzheimer’s research and the American Cancer Society.

got my vote.
