I don’t think people “hate” Al. Maybe just disappointed with him. However the HATE for angie I think showed up around the time when she started running the PA like a dictator and pretending to be more important than she is because she’s married to Al.

For me, it’s disappointment, not hatred. I don’t hate Al, and I don’t know Angie enough to have an opinion about her. I’m disappointed by what Ministry has become in the end. They were my favorite band for years, but after Psalm 69, it’s always been love/hate, hit/miss with the music (didn’t like 96-00, liked 03-04, don’t care much for 06-08).
The Ministry I discovered was fusing electronic and organic music perfectly (to my tastes), branching out as solid side projects, and covering bands like Magazine and Skinny Puppy. As much as I can appreciate aggressive, fast, hard-hitting music, the last thing I wanted Ministry to become was a Cookie Monster speed metal band playing Golden Earring and Deep Purple covers. It’s just not my favorite stuff, so it’s hard to get really excited over Ministry’s recent material.
The Angie “Yoko” label was bound to happen, considering her involvement in the business, but who honestly knows what sort of impact she has on Ministry. I was disappointed the one time she came on the forum to essentially chastise us for having honest opinions. I get the impression that she doesn’t take the bad with the good very well, which is unfortunate. If she just ignored the occasional Al-flaming and trolling, she’d find a lot of good discussion and informed opinions here. I get the feeling our feedback gets ignored, and they (Al and Angie) probably don’t take us seriously as fans, which is too bad.

I met Mrs. Jay when trying to coax sicksteve to get out of the hotel elevator car that she was in. He had walked into the elevator with her and her luggage when she was trying to go up to her room in the hotel. She looked like she was somewhere between pissed off, scared, and frustrated. My efforts were successful, and he walked out of the elevator leaving her alone with her luggage.
not too many have hated al. currently enthusiasm wears thin where it comes to professionals.

I just met her. Had I hated her before I had ever met her, I would have left her in the elevator with Steve.
i think some of you may have missed the point…
Tenohtwo resumed perfectly the sentiments of the majority of longtime Ministry fans, here and on the PA. I can’t hate Al, I’ve never met him, but he truly dissapoints me career-wise. Angie is not Yoko. She’s a real sweetheart who cares about the fans and who took care of Al when nobody cared about him anymore.
