I stumbled upon Ministry in August of 1983 when I picked up a “Current Events” 12" vinyl sampler of recent music from Arista artists at my local Sam Goody. I thought the two tracks “Revenge” and “Effigy” featured were great, and I picked up the full album in due course. I heard “Every Day is Halloween” on an independent radio station about two years later.
When LoRaH and Mind were released, I didn’t know it was the same band at first. I was a DJ on my college radio station in 1989-90, and I remember playing “Burning Inside” for the first time. “Whoa! That sounds really different.” Good memories.
