When did AL quit drinking?

Well, once Angie left it was only a matter of time really. I mean, who else is going to babysit him?

Yeah, I was predicting the same.
Hoping against it, but expecting it, nonetheless.

I’m confused…when it was heroin it was everyone’s business and there was no debate but now that it’s alcohol we are in disagreement?

christ with this guy
only pop out when its self promotion or about AL or Mr Manson
fuck the " dont understand" addiction bullshit
no one ever does
its up to the individual him/herself to understand
not the masses
fuck the NA/AA exploitation methods of “cleaning up” support bullshit

of course you’re confused because you haven’t had a hit in days
i dont recall anyone being in some sort of secret “agreements”
with heroin habits

yeah Dark Side of the Spoon was the last great ministry record
let the fucker die as he will (trying or not)

[reply][reply][reply][reply]It’s his business. I just think it’s a shame to start drinking again so soon after getting out of rehab for that very thing.

The fact that he made such a big deal out of going to rehab kinda makes his fall off the wagon public fodder/discussion.[/reply]

whether he makes a “big deal” coming or going
doesnt mean shit
its his business [/reply]
The fact that hes made it public means its not just his Business. But whatever[/reply]

You have made it public that you are a school teacher. Is it our business to tell you what you should teach or if you are doing a good job.[/reply]
You think the two scenarios are equal? You need to brush up on your logical fallacies

here in america nothing is equal
so its irrelevant to brush up on any logic
as logic is usually tossed out the window the same

Anyway, back to the original topic question . . .

“When did Al quit drinking?”
Answer: When he went to rehab. I don’t remember the exact date, but it was around February 3rd or so, as I recall.

The follow up question would be, “When, if he is now drinking, did he start up again?”
Answer: Some time after he got out of rehab, if he is in fact drinking, which he seems to be.

That’s why i corrected myself - “I just realized i worded that in a strange way…”. I kind of figured a divorce, a move to Hell-A…fuck it. I just thought it was amusing that Al was BIG NEW SOBER AL!! But shit, it’s his life - and it’s always something…Doesn’t mean he’s going to be putting any good music though.

Well, there’s a new LARD coming along, but it won’t give us much of a yardstick either. I’m not sure how far he got through it as “sober Al” or if he went the distance. Regardless, if he’s involved in final mixing, editing, and such . . . . we’re NOW not having a “sober AL”, right?

I really did want to see what Al was capable of without being loaded on booze, drugs, or such. I guess we might never know . . .

I’m stoked about new LARD coming either way, though, and would really hope that they do some live gigs. Whether Al is drunk or not, I know I’m ready to party!

Let’s break it down… what exactly is someone’s business and when it becomes two people’s business what does that mean?

Someone’s (I’m speculating you mean private) business is something that they keep to themselves and don’t want discussed. Unlike, for example, Al’s big brag about his sobriety. Then when he shows on picture/ or interview possibly loaded it demands comment on his sobriety boasting. If Al quietly went to rehab I would see where you were coming from.

Me putting it out there that I’m a teacher is public business, sure, but my abilities as such are not the same thing as Al abilities to complete a program.

Now, If I boasted to everyone how I was going to be a teacher and then you found out I dropped out of the program then your “can I make a comment on your ability to be a teacher” question would be apt.

When it becomes public business, what does that mean, too?

It means I get to comment on the results over the internet without catching shit for meddling in someone’s private business.

I guess I don’t know what business means because I just don’t get how on any planet what I say about Al’s drinking has any bearing on whether or not Al actually drinks.

That’s why it’s called speculation. I don’t think anyone said he WAS drinking. or what anybody said about his possible drinking is fact.

If business means the right to talk crap on the internet then I do that without having the business. Explain.

As many do.

Well, no AL, no Lard…we’ll see - i’d love a “comeback” of sorts! I’d love for a reinvention of some kind - not Beer To EternityRemixxxxxex pt 9! BTW, Gunnar - heard anything regarding what Andy Prieboy is up to? Just curious…
