Listening to MUSE

MUSE SUCK DIDDLEZ!!!

They are the ultimate in homosexual rock.

SWANS-FILTH!!!

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Graeme Revell - Dead Calm OST
John Carpenter - Halloween III expanded OST
Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree

Skrew - Seded, Mouthful of dust and Picasso Trigger.
Kate Nash - Fundations and Pumkin Soup.
Manu Chao - Rainin in paradize.

In my car at work I’ve found myself listening mostly to Chemlab - East Side Militia… the first 5 songs and the last exile on mainline… vera blue brings back some nice memories to me…
and the first and last song on the fake prodigy album The Castbreeder.

that’s it for now =)

Goldfrapp - The Seventh Tree
Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV
The Santogold - Creator single
DJ Blaqstarr/Rye Rye - Shake it to the Ground

Plus lots of the yoga playlists that I’ve made up. I’m sorting through some of the older ones to evaluate for future in-class play. I suspect I’m one of the few yoga teachers to have ever played Throbbing Gristle in class.

Holy shit, Revok, - you have the Halloween III soundtrack? How is it?

Christ, I heard that goes for mad money!!! Super rare - even on disc.

Was looking at possibly buying Halloween, Halloween ll, Halloween lll all on vinyl for 250.00 on e-bay yesterday. Maybe after taxes.

Carpenter is God.

he’s got a compilation - i think - not halloween 3 movie soundtrack. (i googled the title after reading his post.) i’ve got the halloween 1 (original) soundtrack myself. good stuff.

For an unbelievably brilliant horror soundtrack, check out Exorcist II: The Heretic by Ennio Morricone. A psyche classic - It will blow you away - no kidding!!

Have also been listening to (here and there):

Pink Floyd - More (OST)
John Cale - Fear
Skinny Puppy - Bites/Remission
The Breeders - Pod
Wizzards - Hidden City Of Taurmond (a Lightning Bolt side project…check it out!!)
Fugazi - In On The Killtaker
Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom

I’ve actually got the Varese Sarabande release of the Halloween III soundtrack on cd and vinyl from the dawn of time. Found the vinyl in mint condition at Amoeba in Hollywood for a whopping 5 dollars. Apparently nobody knew it was going for quite a bit on ebay at the time. The one im listening to now is a limited edition re-release that contains a handfull of music cues left out of the film and a few early versions of some of the tracks. I think there’s still copies available. That’s my favorite Carpenter soundtrack, it’s dripping with atmosphere. You should track it down Jizzwad, it’s brilliant stuff.

My God, I LOVE that place!!! Found a MISFITS 12 Hits From Hell CD there for about $150.00 Cheaper than anything on the net (only about 500-1000 survived Destruction) No Inked Barcode, No holes punched through anythng, a PERFECT COPY! the only thing missing was the shrink wrap around the CD. Also got a Lead Into Gold Age Of Reason CD for 7 bucks (anywhere on the Net is 30.00 and Up) and Halloween Party for $3.00. Found Ministry’s MIY there for 12 bucks. I’ve got a nice Vinyl Collection now thanks to Amoeba!
Man that place is GREAT!

i’m watching Assault on Pre. 13 (the original) just to hear that ending song right now…

Now:

Nine Inch Nails - Ghosts I-IV
The Smiths - All Four albums
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine
Download - Fixer and Furnace
Modwheelmood - Pearls to Pigs, Vol. 1 & 2
Neubauten - Silence Is Sexy, Alles Wieder Offen, and everything Musterhaus but vol. 4 (redux orchestra).

Wanna get a turn table first. That one at Target looks decent enough.

I don’t know if Costco still is selling them but for 100 bucks you can get an ion brand turntable that comes with an xtra usb output jack (works with a normal stereo receiver as well) and cord that will plug right into your computer as well as software for editing not a bad deal for a hundred bucks. Circuit City Sells it too but it’s quite a bit more expensive there.

orb- u.f.orb remaster disc 2
man, I think I may prefer some of these mixes over the main album! wish it was 3 discs like the ultarworld album, but I’ll take 2 discs over 1 anyday. hopefully they continue this

The Smiths - All Four albums
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine

Oh, I’ve been pulling out all my early 90’s shoegazer indie pop recently - all the stuff I used to listen to around 92 - 95 - like Ride, Slowdive, Lush, Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, Galaxie 500…

Didn’t listen to The Smiths for years (listened to them repeatedly from 1994 - 2001 then just stopped) but have been blowing the dust off the old lps and giving them a spin again. Takes me back…

Did you ever like The Stone Roses??

And check out Ride if you haven’t already.

Love the shoegazer stuff. I’ve been listening to the Lush album “Spooky” quite a bit lately. Ride is great too, “Drive Blind” is one of my favorite tracks eva.

KMFDM: “84-86”
Merzbow: “Amlux”
Blackouts: “History in Reverse”
En Esch: “Confidence”

been listening to my Fields Of The Nephilim records in anticipation to seeing them on saturday
