What will the next Ministry release be?

Well. Listen to “Dream Song”. That’s her.

That’s the only good thing to come from her, I take it?

Hmmm… Good idea… An all AL spoken word thing.
I’m sure he’s just got journals of poetry and lengthy diatribes about various things written down

It would have to be better than Marilyn Manson’s stand-up routine.
I wish I could find those clips on youtube…

chris talks about some chick in his book doing this poetry thing on the ministry bus.

Secondly… who was the comedian who opened for pigface on the ASSHOLE tour? (I saw the show in Memphis.)

there used to be a guy here who called himself “i dream i’m a tiger”. i laughed so hard when i saw that (we’re talkin’ six years ago?) that was one of the lines of brilliance. i can’t remember anything else. but the guy must’ve been there on the bus.

Oh, that guy. Mr. Cryptic Posts.

Wow, that was painful.

It’s very similar to the one I saw, but it’s not the same thing. The one I saw didn’t have him introducing AOL videos.

marilyn manson. he looks completely fucked up, and at one point he has a glass in his hand (i think) and then later no glass. he says, “i don’t feel i have a contemporary”. does he not understand that he has millions and millions of "contemporaneous "rivals. he should’ve said “peer”.somebody on equal footing.
artists, for the most part , should shut up and stop trying to talk about what they do. i’ve been around hundreds of people who do great work. , but when they open their mouths, i wanna smack 'em. shut up!
as i’ve said before, i’m a language junkie. i don’t let anybody get away.
marilyn, where are you? i’m ready for the smackdown.

Derp derpity derp derp derper

Ready for the “arena rock” album (possible final album #3) and still hyped for the next LARD record. I’ll wait.

I thought “Relapse” was his “arena rock” album.
As for LARD, they bring it up constantly, but I think it’s something that will never actually happen. The LARD blister gets lanced every couple years by putting a token Jello track in various Al albums. I think this slow release keeps the spectre of a full album rather dim.

I agree. Doubtful that another full Lard album will happen.

There was an interview earlier this year where he [Al] said that he’s got another album in the pipeline - possibly his last with Ministry - and that it supposedly has ‘arena rock’ qualities, whatever that is  IIRC, it was also said that the new LARD record was ‘practically done’ or something along those lines.

Now, I won’t hold my breath for ether:

  1. A Ministry record with ‘arena qualities’
  2. An actual ‘final record’
  3. A new LARD record

But I’ll buy 'em all if they eventually see the light of day.
Still, I also fear that the ‘new LARD album’ in the end will be the two tracks from “Cocked & Loaded”, and the three or four Ministry tracks Jello has been featured on during the last 15 or so years… :frowning:

The actual final album will come a decade after Al’s ten feet under.
