Well, looks like the ever so mysterious idreamatiger (hopefully my sarcasm can be picked up there) finally has her answer in regard to what will Al be doing if he doesn’t pick his music interest back up.
(I’m refering to his looking into teaching at the University of Texas)
Now though, what I’m wondering, is how many of the planned projects may tank before his departure. Hopefully none, and we can look forward to one last Ministry release, tour, and Lard release…
I’ll admit, Rev Co, I’ll get if released, but I’m not amped about. I mean really, that’s like Axel attempting to go out and tour Guns N Roses when he was the only original member of Guns that was to be on the tour. With Lard, at least Jello would still be on.
What would be really great, is if the entire Rev Co crew could jump back together for one last hurrah…doubtfull, but it’d be awesome.
I think RevCo would happen before Ministry since Al doesn’t have to be a frontman on stage with RevCo. But I have this funny feeling there will be one last Ministry tour next year seeing how it’s the 20th anniversary of Psalm 69. Perhaps they’ll be playing the album in it’s entirety. Just a thought…
