What are you listening to right now?

Chieftans

The new muse. I’m noticing their songs tend to have a “run to the hills” kinda gallopy feel to them… or at least the songs i’ve heard so far

Can’t say I like the new Muse at all. Reminds me too much of Queen. And I DESPISE Queen! So there you go, heh. Few decent songs there though.

And I decided to cave and actually buy Dubber. It’s not too bad. I enjoyed some of the mixes. Some songs just couldn’t be saved like Watch Yourself, but, there’s some decent moments there. The revco one will probably blow this out out of the water though.

sunn o)))'s latest work… monoliths and dimensions.

ho)))ly shit… [shocked]

It’s a good album - far from their best but decent enough.

Been listening to Sunn O)))'s Grimrobe Demos quite a bit. Also a lot of Bastard Noise.

I like (what I’ve heard of) Muse’s new album, but at the moment I am reliving my childhood and listening to Tim Buckley’s “Greetings from LA”.

i take back the galloping maiden comment on the new muse… it was just the song i was listening to at the time. I completely agree with the queen vibe to the album though. Still haven’t watched the dvd part of it yet though.
sadly i would have gotten the new ministry had it been at the store

There’s a new Ministry?

EDIT: Oh, I see. Last Dubber came out. I’ll have to pick up that up.

I heard one song from Muse’s new album and it was dire shite altogether, huge disappointment. I might listen to the rest of the album but I’m not paying for it. They’re plenty rich.

That’s right…I heard they hooked up with Elton John on it…sissy’s.

it’s actually better than I was expecting. Not too much from the new guy. Seems like it’s really going to be cantrell’s show, rightfully so. That new guy still irks me some, but seeing how his contribution is minimal, it’s not
too bad.

No.
The singer is the only new member.

Involution - Involution.

The new guy does sing lead at some points though. A lot of it feels like one of his solo albums. But, there’s definitely some stuff
there that is AIC through and through. There’s a Heaven Beside You-like track in there as well. It’s not bad, but it’s barely pushing over average. Worth a listen, but i’m not entirely sure about it’s replay value.

i believe in miracles–hot chocolate. most underrated hilarious song (lyrically) of the last …multiple decades.

Dubblestandart, Lee “Scratch” Perry & Ari Up “Return from Planet Dub”

Great 25 track album of thick and drowsy dub. Just picked it up yesterday and it’s been on repeat since then. “Oxygen, pt. 4” features samples of David Lynch talking.

Akira Yamaoaka - Silent Hill 2 OST

pailhead. don’t stand in line.

Today i’ve gone through,

Luc Van Acker’s - The Ship
Steven Wilson - Insurgentes
NIN’s “last” show
Killing Joke - Gathering 2008
New AIC
