Apparently they stole the show at Coachella last night. Sounds typical for them. Now the Gen Z and Millenials can get in on the NIN fun. Gatekeepers, assemble!
I just got the album (the red official release). Fucking slamming. I haven’t heard NIN sound this energetic in years. (Don’t get me wrong, I loved most of the “trilogy,” but it wasn’t like THIS.)
Water, food, and air is neat.
Until I hit play I thought you meant Blue Oyster Cult.
I’m psyched for the new album, too.
Killing Joke- Pandemonium
As excellent as ever…
Corrosion of Conformity- Good God/Bad Maan
Fishbone - In Your Face
Body Count - Merciless
Ice-T - OG Original Gangster
the new Foo Fighters album
The new Claypool Lennon Delirium album is insufferably boring. I’ll probably do a 180 on this at some point in the near future, but for the moment, it’s depressingly forgettable.
That is a porn.
Ministry - The Urge to Runaway (Live March 12, 1982)
Ministry - Early versions of Houses of the Molé songs
Lots of Ruins and Boredoms…
AWESOME. Which Boredoms period? The screaming chaotic period, or the trance drum period? I prefer the latter.
I was listening to the more recent trance stuff although i enjoy all eras…saw them once…it was beautiful chaos…
lol seen em 3x including the drum show in brooklyn… at terminal 5 they were like “fuck the stage” and set up their drums and that huge guitar sculpture right in the middle of the floor. during the “encore” someone shouted “A-CID!” and someone else yelled “PO-LEE-SAY!” and Eye cracked up
Ha! That’s awesome…
Boredoms are great! I discovered them quite late, but I’ve managed to find and purchase “Super Æ” and “Vision Creation New Sun” at a reasonable price, and I totally love both of them. Would like to check out more of the band.
Funnily enough, I’ve been a fan of adjacent projects such as Zorn/Laswell/Harris’ Painkiller for years, but didn’t know about Yamatsuka Eye’s ‘main’ band for quite some time.
