What are you listening to right now?

I definitely agree with this. I think queer has found a redeeming theme in this work and loves it because he does. Not because it brings him attention for liking something that no one else understands. Our Australian friend(s) used to that constantly. At least the captain has some rhythmic qualities and structure to it (at least frown land does- i went back and made it through that one)

Since I know everyone is interested, I’m still doing grout. It’s coming out great and I think the vast majority folks would think it is good. I’m not so easily satisfied and the work continues on until I am satisfied.

Hmmm… I’m not sure what to call her -let’s say Agent69- is over. Agent69 and I have been together for 20 years or so. We live a bit of drive from each other and hadn’t been able to see each other all that much. If the Gods of Traffic, Weather, and Construction smile upon us, then it’s about 75 minutes. If the proper sacrifices haven’t been made, then it can be anywhere from several hours to several months to make the trip depending upon which of the gods were disrespected (this seems to happen frequently). I jest. Only slightly. The story of how we met is a good one. At least I like it

It’s going to be a good night… Agent69 brought over some steaks as well as a bottle of red for her and Trois Pistoles for your’s truly.

She loves jazz (and I’ve grown to appreciate over the years.)

For starters -
Dave Brubeck Quartet - Time Out
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme

A good night indeed…

It was a very good night. Despite breaking my foot… Doh!

It was getting on in the evening and drinks were flowing. It was a good time to break out my patented panty dropping dance moves ™ while Coltrane was on. Busting a move I tripped over my shoes and ended up bashing a door frame square with my right foot. And that was the end of that. My foot is about 17 shades of purple today. I’m certain 3 toes are broke and likely some other stuff. I’m glad the Agent wasn’t videoing as that would of been a YouTube moment. I have my foot encased in a bucket of ice right now. It was funny when it happened. It’s still funny now.

Agent69 introduced me to some new music this afternoon.

Still Corners - Kinda chill dreampop with a bit of psych and touch of Western. Sorta Cowboy Junkies and Morcheeba but not really. Apparently these cats have been around for a while. I had never heard of them until a few hours ago.

A couple tunes to check out.

I like what I’ve heard so far.

According to Agent69 tonight is going to be even better. No idea what she has planned.

I’m hoping no more broken bones are involved though.

Tuesday, Agent69 went to visit her sister. Her sis lives about 15 minutes from me. Said she they had a couple things to do but would be back later and would bring something for dinner. Getting in the WAYBAC machine - a year or so ago we were on a short road trip to the west side of state (Lake Michigan). We were down by the water and a rather attractive young woman walks by. I didn’t say anything but the Agent noticed that she wore her hair super short and commented that she thought it was really cute. I thought it was too and suggested maybe Agent69 do something like that. The Agent quickly put the kibosh on that. Up until Tuesday she had always had long straight dark brown hair, frequently in a pony tail.

Back to Tuesday… It was getting to the evening, about 6pm. Agent69 pulls into the drive, I was glad as I was a bit hungry. When she got out of the car, my jaw hit ground. Normally, her style is pretty casual and a bit librarian-ish. She had on a tight little black dress and rocking super short hair. I mean en fuego. She didn’t say anything other than “I brought dinner.” After staring like a kid who saw his first playboy, the only thing I could say was you certainly did. I’m not sure when we actually got around to dinner - Chick-Fil-A. She felt bad about mocking me mercilessly about me being a dumbass with the ahem… dance moves from the previous night before realizing that I had broke my foot. I’m thinking broken bones aren’t so bad after all.

Still feeling a bit chill.

METALLICA’s new song Screaming Suicide. I’m liking it!

It’s better than the last tune that I heard off the new album. I still find it boring. Metallica needs to retire.
