King Buffalo…these guys are pretty good. Don’t think of heard of them before. Kinda stoner rock without the weed. More keyboards and really no sabbath feel but it’s refreshing. Gonna check out their other releases.
About to hear Ghost live when I go see them tonight…
Ghost were so much god damn fun last night…what a show the put on…
The Smiths - Meat Is Murder
King’s X. Pretty solid release. Typical for them…liking it!
Listening to the new Ozzy. Best he has done since 1995…
Listening right now. Loving every minute of it.
Zeal & Ardor. Seeing them tonight @ Warsaw in Greenpoint. Haven’t been this psyched for a show since NIN’s two-night stand at Radio City. These guys are the real shit.
Jane’s Addiction 1st-lp
It reminds me of something Alice Cooper would do.
The Iommi tracks stand out - those two are so much better together.
Spirit- The Twelve Dreams of Dr Sardonicus
Still so good…this band never got the acclaim they deserved…
^
I saw them open for the Doobie Brothers in 1992, haha! Their drummer (Ed Cassidy) was like 70 years old and an absolute beast. But yeah, they’re really good.
Yeah such a weird band dynamic…Ed Cassidy was Randy California’s step dad and when the band started he was like 44 and Randy was 16 haha…they did some really cool music though…
The KLF - The White Room (Director’s Cut)
Madlib - african earwax aka mind fusion vol. 6.
Also can’t stop playing silk sonic…so addictive!!
What do you think of the directors cut? I only listened once and liked it as an alternative but feel it overall pales in comparison to the original. However it’s likely I just didn’t give it enough of a chance
Me too. I got it based on the solid recommend here and because its Ozzy. But damn there is not a filler track on that album. The title track being the certain stand out for me its just so infectious.
I got the new megadeth album too. Its not bad but its kinda sad compared to the new Ozzy. Im sure ill get into it more once I’m through blaring #9
I like the original better too.
Listening to the new Pink Floyd 2018 Animals remix released today. Crisp and some of it has stronger levels. So far, sounds better than the 1977 one.
lol i came here today to bitch about it, then saw your post. to my ears, it doesn’t sound like a relevant improvement over the last remaster. i mean, floyd were always very meticulous about the sound quality of their music (at least, during “Animals” and the Waters era, they were), so I never felt there was a shitload there to remaster. then again, i haven’t given it a headphone spin, which i’ll try to do soon.
