the new ISIS.
VNV Nation - Reformation 01 (disc 2)
After that I’m going to put on the new Prong remix album. We’ll see how that works out.

Listening to one of my favorite Whitehouse songs (and one of my favorite songs in general right now), “Asking For It.”

LOL. neither. The Inland Empire’s “hard rock” station. So, mostly Metallica and Ozzy with a little zeppelin and crue thrown in for balance!

Leaether Strip: “The Pleasure of Penetration” remaster
Somebody doing a cover of Fad Gadget’s “Back To Nature.”
These guys are going places.
Sat up Saturday nite with friends shooting the breeze til 6am (boy it’s been a while since I last did that) listening to:
Roxy Music - Country Life
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum
Nico - Chelsea Girl
Tangerine Dream - Zeit
Boredoms - Pop Tatari
Mastodon - Crack The Skye
Young Gods - Almost Heaven
Confessions of a Knife - TKK
Album is very fucking catchy!
Aside from that, i’ve acquired some recent NIN/JA boots from last week. Some really good stuff. Also got a nin dvd, from all that footage and such nin leaked awhile back. This guy did one hell of a job, it’s called “head’s down”. Some missing songs, but this guy knew what he was doing and did it well.
eno.
it occurred to me that his singing voice is as high as paul barker’s. those guys should work together, methinks, because they are extraordinary in picking and choosing the peeps to work with.
and the choices have always worked pretty well. duh.
eno and U2-boring. eno and paul barker-?
GO.
The Church - Untitled #23
Wow. Hands down the best album I’ve heard this year so far, and the best they’ve done in decades. This is a band that has progressively gotten better with age.
Click Click: “Shadowblack” & “Whiteout.” “Torniquet” is a damned good song. Perfect for sleepless nights.
It’s a shame they fell apart again after those releases. I liked that Scorn-influenced era more than their old industro-synth-pop stuff.
Dire Straits - Money For Nothing
I love that fucking song
also dusted off Filth Pig and gave it a spin, Lay Lady Lay has to be one of the dumbest most boring Ministry songs ever, good thing Jorgensen/Barker didnt actually write the song, but ruined it.
Ben Frost - Theory of Machines
Jonny Greenwood
Ladytron
Mastodon
Slayer
Sonic Youth
Tom Waits
Neubauten
Merzbow - Merzbuddha

Love their version prolly ten times more than the original actually. Not a dylan fan though. Good song though.
Currently, i’m listening to the new manson album. It’s not bad if that says anything. If you like mechanical animals/holy wood, i’d recommend it. Not as shitty as I had expected.

If that could work… wow.
