Two thumbs up. Great one.

B.O.C - Live’83 aka the holy grail boot that is now a legit release, real gone music has it as well as imaginos.
Live 83 was also a rsd release.

Blue Oyster lp’s I own:

Blue Oyster Cult
Secret Treaties
Spectres
Fire Of Unknown Origin
Imaginos
Curse Of The Hidden Mirror

plus a cd compilation I bought in Japan. Such a great band. Sadly overlooked these days too, I’m afraid to say.

Other than “Don’t Fear The Reaper” and “Veteran Of The Psychic Wars,” I could never get into BOC. I dunno what it is, it just doesn’t interest me.

Interesting fact: When I went to Stony Brook University in the 90s, I worked on the staff of the Stony Brook Press, an “alternate” newspaper to the mainstream journalism of the school’s other paper, The Statesman. Our office was in the basement of the Union – in the same room where BOC started playing as a band decades earlier. Neat, eh?

Yeah…I think BOC is from long island. The Good Rats too. They played together quite a bit. I to, have never gotten into BOC. Godzilla!

I’ll take a bite of this “aint into boc” cake, too.

Yeah they are from Long Island…I’m a huge fan of a BOC…all eras…just saw them with Deep Purple a couple months ago…they were still great…saw them a lot back in the day…

Good Rats are underrated…

Every boc fan should watch the stoned age (not national lampoons the stoned age).

Will Smith slapped Chris Rock.

My father got me interested in them as he was a BOC fan from way back. Funny story, he was at a BOC gig in London back in the mid 70’s. He could tell that someone was smoking a joint behind him, so he turned around to make a comment and saw that it was none other than Paul McCartney and his wife!!

Paul winked at my father then went back to smoking the joint.
