Just came into a lot of $$$, been spending some of it on Discogs.com buying old KTS (Kiss The Stone) bootlegs from the early 90s. Sound quality is great, artwork is nice. I’ve always been more interested in the physical product than the .mp3 file anyway. A sample of things I picked up so far:
NIN - Children Of The Night (w/ Bowie), When The Whip Comes Down (Woodstock)
RHCP - Lollapalooza '92
Ministry - Lollapalooza '92, Kill For Kicks (post-Lolla Psalm 69 tour), Trip To Hell (“Mind” tour)
Also Primus, Siouxsie And The Banshees, and a copy of Nirvana’s last show entitled ROMA that’s so professional looking it should be on a Best Buy shelf.
When the Whip Comes Down is a great bootleg, sounds so good! I seem to remember one track gets a hasty edit but everything else is gold.

I hope you didn’t pay too much for the ministry bootlegs. Hit me up on PM if you are interested in any other ministry boots. I have doubles and some triples of 90% of the bootleg catalog and I can most definitely beat the prices on discogs… especially for a fellow pronger.
The Trip to hell CD is shitty if I remember correctly. I think it’s a lousy recording of the Omaha show. Cool art though with the skull berets. Power Dept is probably the best recording of the Omaha show.

WTWCD is a great bootleg. Great art, terrific sound (how could it not be, it was recorded right off the TV! heh). The song with the hasty edit is “Reptile,” I guess because they could only fit so much onto a CD. But I can live with it.

Thank you for the offer, but I think I have all I need now of the Ministry bootlegs. I was of the opinion that “Trip To Hell” is “Power Department,” just minus “Burning Inside” - I used to own PD, and if I remember, the version of “Burning Inside” on there is short, interrupted, and very embryonic.

I think the source sound is different. None of the Omaha boots have burning inside. (I think PD has like 8 seconds of it but every other recording is comlpetely ommitted) No problem… My favorites of the boots are New Revelation, Sphinctour 96, The Sun Fix and Overflow

New Revelation (the acoustic one) IS good. Sphinctour 96 I passed on, because I have the official recording. Don’t know anything about Overflow. Is it just me or is Sun Fix kind’ve recorded funny - like they stuck the beginning of the show at the end of the disc? I dunno… love the screaming at the climax of “Psalm 69” on that one. (I used to own it.)
Sphinctour 96 I passed on, because I have the official recording.
There is no official recording. Sphinctour and Spinctour 96 only share a title. Spinctour 96 is a complete show out of Germany. Sphinctour official cd is a bunch of polished live performances. https://www.discogs.com/Ministry-Sphinctour-1996/release/1707986
