[i]“The man who came out of the spaceship attempted to shoot me with something he called a ‘Bop Gun,’” lead singer Darius Rucker told reporters. “Somehow I sensed it would be detrimental to my career as a singer.”
Added a visibly distressed Rucker: “He also seemed to imply that if I let my mind go free, something would happen to my bottom.”[/i]

[reply][reply]I recently got “Sex-O Olympico” in the 13th Planet clearance sale. It’s actually a pretty decent album now that I’ve gotten past my prejudices.
I have been trying to tell people this for years.[/reply]
Yes! I’ve been saying the same thing!
Got Cock is a different story, of course…[/reply]

Abundant Redundancy is a great little song.[/reply]
It’s definitely the highlight. I feel like maybe Josh actually wrote about what he wanted to on that one instead of whatever drivel Al told him to write (“OK man, this song’s about lesbians, got it? It’ll be fucking hilarious!”).
It’s good. It’s not just a Clayton solo remix album, there’s a wide range of artists reassembling the tracks. Standout is definitely Luuuuuc Vaaaan Aaaaacker’s (!) remix of “Touch Screen.”
[reply]Sex-o Mixxx-o or however it’s poorly spelled is probably the best remix album Al’s ever had anything to do with.
I don’t think i even listened to that one, i’d sort of tired of the obligatory remixxx album by that point.[/reply]
I got tired of that schtick almost immediately.
It always seemed like such a shameless cash grab.
I don’t even give them a chance.
If I happen to accidentally hear something as a bonus track or on a promo or something, so be it, but I don’t even waste my time listening to free samples online.
