What are you listening to right now?

The B-52’s - Party Mix/Mesopotamia

Ruby the Hatchet - Valley of the Snake

These kids are opening for Uncle Acid currently - check 'em out, they kick ass.

Slayer - Repentless.

It’s good stuff, if you like Slayer, which i do.

Blind Idiot God-Undertow
Blind Idiot God-Cylcotron

Foetus “Gash” and, just as good…

…Isaac Hayes, “Truck Turner” original sound track

The movie is kinda unremarkable as mid-70s beat-em-up / car chase movies go, but the soundtrack is another story altogether. Worth it simply for the unstoppable juggernaut of wah-chika-wah guitar and smooth strings that is “Pursuit of the Pimpmobile.” The main title theme and “Blue’s Crib” will also generate a mighty force field of funk around you, from which The Man will shrink away in terror.

Ironically, some instrumental sections of this were wholesale swiped for the Boyd Rice Experience album “Hatesville.”

Yeah. Alice Cooper, Dizzy Reed, Matt Sorum, Johnny Depp, and a bunch of other guest stars. Their cover of “One / Jump Into The Fire” took me totally by surprise… check it out and you’ll see what I mean.

Gordon Lightfoot - sundown

Gordon Lightfoot - sundown

one of my favorites!

Iron Maiden - The Book of Souls: brilliant from start to finish. By rights, this should not be the sound a band makes after 40 years, but they’ve really pulled it out of the bag this time. Such an impressive album.

This. A thousand times, this. If a band can make a record like this after 40 years, Tool has no fucking excuse. I’m not sure what one thing has to do with the other, but hey, fuck it. Let’s bash Tool some more.

The Young Gods - Skinflowers live

Maiden RULES!
Tool sucks.

Dammit Janet, I love you.

I love Tool… but they’re really getting on my nerves. Put out an album or fucking break up. Enough of this carrot before the horse crap.

You sell out! Can’t believe you’d want them to release an album.
