The Final Cut has even more Waters on it than The Wall and I love the shit out of that album. Some great lyrics and sad shit on that record and it flows well. It’s not up there with their earlier stuff but it’s good for what it is and damn sure better than any of the dated sounding shite they put out after Waters left.
Completely disagree about The Final Cut.
That album is the pits. Not even beer coaster worthy.

It’s another one of those albums where I can completely understand why other people would hate it. I think I just like shitty music. Seems like I always really enjoy every bands worst reviewed and/or least fan-favorite album(s).
I mean, you gotta be in the moment for that album. You gotta be listening to it on your Beats in 'Nam or standing in the rubble of what was once an Italian cafe to really get it.

I’m with you, man…I LOVE The Final Cut…in fact, along with Animals it is perhaps my favorite of theirs…I never understood people who like the Wall but don’t like FC…it’s basically a continuation just without Rick Wright…

Nice one,P…
The Oath (the newer German occult metal band, not the any of the several slightly older black metal bands)
New Sly & Robbie LP Underwater Dub is kickin ass.
Apollo Brown’s new album 38 is brilliant. I can’t see a Hip Hop album topping it this year.

Oh yeah,Trophies right? I actually heard some of that one from a co-worker also…don’t own it though…the stuff I’ve heard is very solid…definitely some traces of Madlib and Dilla music wise…and that is always a good thing…

I was at a friend’s house last night. Smoking, drinking and listening to music. Heard an album called People Hear What They See by an artist called Oddisee.
Might track down a copy. Pretty good. Very laid back with a “cinematic” feel to it.
You heard??

No never heard the man. According to discogs he’s a Washington DC producer. Check out his releases on the discogs link below…
Just noticed he’s on the same label as Apollo Brown though so he’s definitely got skills. I’ll check his stuff out on YouTube.

I’m more partial to White Light from that era but I love Love of Life…both flawless records…
