What are you listening to right now?

Godflesh - Messiah
Will Haven - El Diablo
PWEI - New Noise Designed by a Sadist

How’s the PWEI? I tried to get into it, but couldn’t. The second track isn’t too shabby, but the rest is kinda whatever.

Buck Satan and the 666 Shooters.

And you know what? I’m starting to think “What’s Wrong With Me” may be the best song Al’s written since the '90s.

Lyrically, maybe so. Musically, not sure. Song’s grown on me some though.

Yeah, the whole album’s grown on me, actually.
I’m still irritated at the fake drums, shouting, useless solo introductions and midi banjo - but overall I’m enjoying it more and more.

I’ve actually caught myself humming Drug Store Driving Man a few times. Some of the album is whatever. But it certainly has it’s moments.

Not working for me either. Needs Fuzz and Clint. I am such a huge fan of their earlier stuff, I was bound to be disappointed though.

Maybe I’ll try and give it another go. at some point.

Balansky
Godflesh
Massive Attack
Dj Kool Herc
Telefon Tel Aviv
Blood of Heroes
Ministry- Darkside of the Spoon

Somebody That I Used To Know is amazing, but the rest of his stuff didn’t do it for me.

You need to watch Walk Off The Earth’s cover of that song.

As per Wikipedia: The video of their cover of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” featuring The Creepshow’s Sarah Blackwood became rapidly popular on YouTube in early 2012, gathering over 40 million views in 23 days.

I’m a huge Creepshow fan, so seeing Sarah on Ellen was awesome.

Al

Yeah, I’ve seen that - must’ve taken a shit ton of practice.
Here’s the link for those who don’t know what we’re talking about.

Lana Del Rey - Born To Die

Godflesh - everything

Godflesh is on shuffle on my ipod at work. Fun stuff when people walk by.

Cyberaktif - Tenebrae Vision

Hi all! It’s been a while since I came here, I think it was after the album that does not exist (the first whithout Paulo).

Roaming on internet I fell on the videos of the upcoming Ministry album, puked, remembered Prongs.org/bible, created a new account and listened vintage Ministry and RevCo. So right now I’m listening to Pailhead.

Glad to see the board is alive after all these years.

Best regards from France!

Clockwork Orange soundtrack.

Sleigh Bells - Reign of Terror

Two great albums (the best of '12 so far)

The best hard rock album I’ve heard in a while (maybe since their last album ‘Crooked Timber’) ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DgxyBvJZYA

The guys from Zombi, so you can basically say it’s Zombi. Regardless it’s a top electronic album. ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shVEGD7KINM

I’ve been thinking about picking that up as I used to be a huge fan. I actually saw the Yoyos on Saturday as Chris Mccormack told me he was going to be playing an encore with his brother, another dude out of the wildhearts, carl barat out of the libertines and andy cairns out of Therapy? They played a few covers and it was fucking great. I turned round out one point and realised I was standing next to gary numan and his wife (i was actually a bit starstruck, something that never happens!). Chris used to play guitar for gary, so i guess that’s why he turned up. So yeah, a great night, and I need to buy that Therapy? album.

Sweet, you won’t be disappointed by the new one. Drums sounds great on it.

Going to see them in three weeks. Haven’t seen them in 10 years.
